Actually a pretty fun movie. Cool story/clown mythology, great makeup, decent acting, some dark, funny moments and TONS of gore!! I give it a solid B, any true horror fan will dig it.

Move over, Pennywise. Dummo the Cloyne is now the clown to beat. This is now my favorite horror flick, and I've seen them all. the premise is so simple, a man can't take off a clown suit. What happens as he transforms, and the little nuances thrown into that you don't see at first glance, is reminiscent of the best of 'Hellraiser' and 'The Fly', made tongue strictly in cheek and damn hilarious. It's a severely underrated movie, I'd easily give it a 9.5/10 and can stand by that. If you love horror, watch this movie...if you're terrified of clowns, watch this movie twice!!!
This does not look like its worth watching. Its filled with stupid scenes like a little kid walking up to some hobo/clown in the middle of night with his arm outstretched. That is shitty cliche moment which isnt even scary. If you want a good clown film, watch Killer Klowns from Outer Space!

I think it's interesting to watch the development of a theme King was of course inspired by Gacy, but King has such a huge influence on our culture that now killer clowns are like a thing. And some people seem to think they were always a thing. But they weren't. Before Gacy nobody said anything about clowns being scary or creepy.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force did it first when Carl was slowly/painfully transformed into a clown by and evil wig in an episode called "The Clowning", but I still need to see this movie
