This one is really helping me 😊 I watched my sculpture's head slowly lean to the side until he looked as if he were leaning awkwardly. So i said he as sleeping....or drunk...or both..

I was always fond of beautiful sculpture such as "Hercules the archer" (my favorite) and "lady of auxerre". I found your channel today and subscribed with excitment! Want to work creating sculptures myself!!

I've recently found my first love, my passion for art creating and drawing again after years of being apart and now I am especially interested in 3d model pieces of clay, wood work but also wanting to learn how to do the molding process for copies of the prime piece. There shouldn't be gatekeeping in art, the blessings of art are for everyone from the Heavenly Father. There's very few that are knowledgeable/skilled that will also guide aspiring artists and sculpting enthusiasts. Your experience along with willingness to help and provide answers is invaluable inspiring creativity in me and countless more so I appreciate it and wanted to thank you.

I always make my chin on my sculpture stick out too much but I think I see now why. 😊 practice, practice ❤ I have found sculpting is a lot different than drawing portraits. I like drawing, but love sculpting ❤

Hi Steve, that's great thanks, I've done a few small sculptures but this is very clear and simple and honest tips that I'm going to try out in the next week or so - I've ordered the aluminium core and clay :) Cheers, Andy

Hello, from Quebec! Can you please put a link for the wax you use? Also, I hope you have a video how to make a mold once the sculpture is done. Also, can you re-use the wax for other work? Thankyou!

This is greatly appreciated 🙏. A quick question though, for these sorts of portraits, are you able to put other material (eg foam) to bulk out the head so that you can minimise the amount of plasteline/clay you use? If not, is there a reason? Thanks again!

Monster clay hard , similar to Herbin plastiline #70 he is using
or chavant NSP , all are oil based clay , hard is the way to go since you can melt them down and achieve great details once cooled

Im confused is it wax or plastacin ? Because one minute you call it wax then you call it Plastalin So frustrating !

No idea what this is about..how about starting from reference work…surely you didn’t sculpt this from scratch ..had to either be several life drawing studies or AI digital imagery from all sides….please show the whole process for beginners

Your arm tattoos are very distracting. Patterns and shapes constantly moving on screen making it difficult to focus on your hands. A shame because your work is obviously high quality. But this wouldn’t work for me.
