I see both points. The senator is correct in stating that rebuilds in infrastructure would be financially burdensome for many residents or tax payers. Of course we want the best outcome and earthquake saftey for our Utahns, but how can this be done in this economy? Is there a financial plan this safety group can share with lawmakers to ensure a reasonable incentive for affordability while meeting deadlines to meet safety standards?
And when the insurance companies jack up my property insurance rates after they hear about this, will Senator Fillmore pay my premium increases for me?
