You know what else had a 32-bit RISC CPU? The Acorn Archimedes. You know what else had a 32 bit RISC CPU? The iPhone up to the iPhone 7. You know what else had a 32-bit RISC CPU? The Raspberry Pi. You know what else... This family of chips really got around.
32-bit RISC isn't that specific.
That's because RISC processors (ARM, MIPS, etc) were (and are) still popular with low-powered, electronic devices.
Akaishi ARM on android phones.
The Sony Playstation also has this, according the the Dualshock Console version box.
... RISC is a type of processor, not a processor in of itself. Stands for Reduced Instruction Set Computer. As far as types of RISC processors. We have the MIPS family, the ARM family, the SPARC, Super H(which the Loopy uses), PPC, the list goes on.
I'd love to see him review the JXD Singularity S192. The best & most powerful Android-based handheld console ever made. And, no, I didn't forget about the Nvidia Shield Portable. Because the Singularity is more powerful than the Shld Prtble AND it supports most Shield games out of the box. However some will require root to access. Thankfully though, JXD themselves offer ways to root the Singularity and to access the Shield Hub to use both Geforce Now and NVIDIA's official Game-stream, PC game streaming.
As a 23yr old woman I suddenly need this! Also my laptop is covered in stickers (mainly mlp and barbie)
very impressed with the effort put into this video. good stuff. perfect review
Starting out with the premise that this is a "games machine" and not a "sticker maker" is a little bit silly isn't it? Casio make a ton of label printers and this is just an extension of that and not some attempt to get into the games market.
I'm wondering about non-gaming parents not knowing the difference between consoles and getting this instead of what their kid actually wanted. Like those kids that got Brick Game instead of a game boy.
This thing is so quaint... I like it.
"It is October," NO IT'S NOT ASHENS! "1995" Oh....
ohnoanotherputz In ny defense I'm very very tired, but for a moment there I was legitimately confused before I remembered that I was born November 1995 and therefore it couldn't be October 1995 as I am not in a womb. Just in bed. Which is not the same thing.
You know what, I really like the graphics on that thing. Allow it to hook into the Internet, release a tool that allows developers to create their own retro games and share it on the console. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Ashens and the loopy blue waffle sounds like a good title for the game child sequel
Lovely intro. For a mere second I thought my system died with a BSOD.
Ahh but can it print out an inflatable crown... Oops wrong video
xDDDDDD
you mean a fucking inflatable fucking crown ^^.
15:03 Stuart, that's a fucking chocolate bar mate.
That's a really good Lady Maria, needs more flaming blood though...
This 90's anime aesthetic is a guilty pleasure though
i really find this very interesting, never expected a console for Casio and having a unique feature of good quality printer of stickers, a rare and interesting piece of tecnology
when he said "fighting mutant vegetables" i was pretty sure he was joking... and then i remembered that its a Japanese game we are talking about....
Your humour is drier than a Ryvita thin on the face of the sun, and I love it 😂 "digital toast" 😂😂😂😂
6:06 *digital toast* digital fucking toast. I spit out my tea. Why was that so funny to me oh god.
Joe .T Only God can judge me.
wow, this is amazing.
You should have given this to Ben Heck so we could actually see the insides and the processor. Like this looks really powerful and sound reproduction actually sounds pretty good. Would have loved a look inside!
Never thought I'd hear Ashens mention bluewaffle lol. And respect for your donation to Cambridge.
Any Homebrew scene?
I wonder how it would feel like to play a Loopy while looping on acid.
Some weird kid: Mom, I want a CD-i
Mom: But we have a CD-i at home.
CD-i at home:
That whould be the cdtv or comendore dynamic total vision.
This looks genuinely fun, this would have made my life back in elementary school, maybe if I had Loopy I would be able to remember my childhood instead of suppressing it. Also vaporwave sticker printer makes it relevant to this day.
Sticker printing game system: (exists)
Peripheral that hooks up to a VCR: (also exists)
VHS cassette of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: (also exists)
Me: "This is big brain time."
Like digital toast.
-Ashens 2017
Im glad you donated this 👍
It's not a blue waffle, it's the TARDIS disguised as a Cadbury bar.
That puppy game was sweet and cute and reminded me of the innocent days of gaming the 1990s
I'm not even mad, but sticker resolution and quality is amazing. I like stickers!
Send this to the angry video game nerd
I guess Casio was inspired by Lionels "girl train".it was intended as a train set for girls. it failed because many girls actually hated the train.
This the Xbox Scorpio?
Whiffy5 yes it is.
Whiffy5 behold it’s glory
The worlds most powerful game console
“Jump cut because its a pain is the arce to get into the box” lol 😂 that was golden
Obscure old electronics like this is great, cool video.
why there in no printing process shown?
