TThe opposition is in total disarray. No one talks about the external debt, and Congress should highlight how they raised revenue and implemented welfare schemes in Karnataka. Instead, they're promising freebies without explaining how the money will be raised. I saw a TH-camr interviewing a Dalit who mentioned that if 5 kilos of ration is promised, he gets exactly 5 kilos. Even 10 grams less, and the receipt doesn't come out. If it's more, it does, but not less.

Much was made of Modi's popularity abroad, there were ulterior motives, he was found affable , though flamboyant, and all Western Nations fawned on him as they wanted favourable trading terms, as India has a very huge market. Rahul will be even more popular ,for his sincerity, and his engaging manners, but he will put the Nations interest before his. I think he will prove to be the most lovable and successful member of the Nehru family.
India will prosper and become the 3rd largest economy in the world and the whole of India will share in her prosperity.
Modi ,in retrospect is a very astute and shrewd person, only interested in his reputation and in advancing the interests of the top 20 people of the Country.
He was using religion as the tool to gain popularity, and the gullible believed him to be a saintly person.
Disillusion came when the walk did not match the talk. His self praise and megalomonia , and finally his attempts to divide the nation by imbecilic remarks about the Congress party , Muslim infiltrators and finally the disrespect and lies about the world renowned father of our Nation are his undoing.
History will hold him in contempt for his ludicrous claims of being a God, who even Lord Jagannath bowed to. His pride was his downfall, he took the common people for gullible fools, not knowing they were recognising him for what he was and rejecting him en masse !
