people evolved in Africa, from one common ancestor, a couple hundred thousand yrs ago Over time, some people walked out of Africa and spread across the world. The short answer for "attorneys general" is there's a class of noun, that, unlike most nouns in English, has the adjective after it instead of before (aka "postpositive adjective"). When that happens, and you want the plural, obviously you have to make the noun plural, not the adjective after it, thus "attorneys general". Other examples are courts-martial and passers-by. (It turns out "attorney general" is originally from French, where all adjectives are found after the noun.)

After living in a gerrymandered district for years I finally was able to vote for congressman that won. He was my congressman till I moved in March and he is doing a great job. Hoping he goes far in his political career

The Outrage Olympics, what a great way to put it. If only the news wouldn't focus on these people and focus on the senators and representatives who only talk sense instead. Hard to do when there's less and less of these people though.

I see Klepper and Lydic in the thumbnail, and all of a sudden I'm like Amber says "WHAT??" I haven't watched it yet, the ad is playing, don't let me down! For the record, my favorite host has been Chelsea Handler, then a close tie with Sarah. I would love to see Roy Wood Jr. host, though, he's soooo freaking funny

It's not Jeff's adequacy that brings back hope - it's his popularity despite some political views. People recognise the need for normal representatives from each party and cheer for the calm discourse.
