    I don't get holding tuck for 30s to move on to advanced tuck, you just work on basic strength and it will not help you out with harder progressions. I am able to hold tuck for ~20s and clean straddle planche for 4s. You just need to work on your strength doing these exercises shown in the video, but don't try your max hold in tuck. Moreover, you don't need 30 seconds of advanced tuck to go for straddle, it doesn't work that way.

    this video is amazing for people without equipment and it allows you to train planche basically anywhere. imo tho, i think that if you can hold a progression for 8-10 seconds, just use bands to get to the next level. i used bands to get advanced tuck and it worked perfectly fine

      i have also a tipp for getting into the advance tuck pl and beyond. from tuck let your knees drop slightly down to the floor. you will notice an increased stress to your shoulders. just press littler more harder into the floor. this brings your pelvis back in line with your shoulders and takes the stress away from your shoulders. repeat this actions until you reach the full extended hollow shape.

      JustCalisthenics Hey man, by the way, a good way you can promote your videos is to go to the reddit bodyweight fitness community and make a post saying you made a tutorial. You could title it something like “Learn clap pushups fast” for your last video and then write about how you put your advice into a video for the community and link it. I used this method and got 2.5k on my first vid on another channel. Cheers!

    hi i am currently at tuck planche. At 3:38 of your video, you suggest adv tuck with hips higher (ATWHH) than shoulders level. Just like to ask, what muscles must i activate to enter this ATWHH from the tuck planche? i believe shoulders must push much harder. Do i also need to use more of the core muscles to lift the butt higher?

  • @nourelgabry3272
    @nourelgabry3272 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    don't you think 60 push ups are more like endurance thing? i think planch needs more power and strength so working on my PUs to 60 is not that important. correct me if I am wrong please.
    and when you say you need solid tuck of 25-30 sec
    do you mean as max or the time i use when training in sets? as i can do about one set of 25 sec
    but if i am training i do sets of 20 or maybe 15 before falling.

    • @StefanoRavarinoCalisthenics
      @StefanoRavarinoCalisthenics  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you are right.. I usually say a little more reps than strictly necessary for basic cause it's better to have more than the strictly necessary..
      25/30s as max in a single set.. if you can do more sets around 20s with few minutes rest between you surely can arrive to 25/30s so yes you're ready
