Menace 2 Society is a great movie but a really sad one at that. The lesson I learned from watching this movie is something my parents would preach to my siblings and I and that's "Don't push your time". If you got the time to change. Do it now and not later because god will give you a certain amount of chances before it too late. This is best describe by the main character Caine who had every chance to change his ways. Despite the negative environment he lived in. He had great grandparents who wanted the best for him, Shariff and Shariff dad who try to steer him away from the bad and negative parts of Society. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Adryane Robinson.

I saw at the $1.50 movie theater twice when i was a kid. I hate that Caine died & i wanted him to make it out of the hood. The lesson of this movie is everything catches up with you in the end. Rewatching this as an adult i realized that Caine was doing too much & the movie did a great job of making him look like the protagonist. O-Dogg was a dumbass because he was showing off the robbery tape like it was a sports reel. I don’t think Illena was pregnant, she pretended to be in order to trap Caine. Fun Facts: The late 2Pac was supposed to play Sharif. He was upset because there was no back story on how Sharif coverted to Islam & he wanted to play O-Dogg instead & he assaulted the directors. A-Wax & Chauncey did voiceovers on GTA: San Andreas.
Can we please get reactions on the following movies:
    New Jack City
    South Central
    Fresh
    New Jersey Drive

Check out Dead Presidents starring Larenz Tate, Chris Tucker, Terrance Howard. Another good one is Straight Outta Compton. The biopic about Ice Cube and his group NWA. Ice Cube’s son plays him in the movie.

Hi Adryane! Im glad you finally posted this reaction! You made my morning. Too bad you wasn't alive to see this in 1993 in the theaters. It was a big deal back then. Pepole walked out crying.😢😢

One of the saddest things about the end scene is you see Kaine hit the ground when they start shooting and starts running to the house. It looks like he got shot once in the chest. But once he gets to the steps he remembers Anthony and turns back to get him and that’s when he gets shot up and dies. He made the decision to save Anthony rather than save himself. ❤️

But the thing is, Adyrane that was the whole point of what the movie was trying to explain. It was showing us that being a menace in the streets will lead you to early death if you do not change your way of errors in your life. There's no happy ending about that.

One of the most realistic death scenes is at the end of "Menace 2 Society". The amount of blood, the entry wounds making gushers of the clothes, and the face which Kane has when he spasms during the last moments of his life.
    Terrifying. As it should be.

BET used to show reruns of this movie all the time back in the day.... i was in junior high when i watched it, the lesson i got from it.. is that you reep what you sow, he did all that dirt and it caught up with him. Outside of that... i think Boyz in the Hood is a better film there's more of a lesson in it...and it doesnt glorify the violence and the ghetto as much as this film.

When the titles came on screen @ 2:30 I couldn't stop laughing at you, I'm sorry. It was a great laugh at your expense, tears in my eyes. It's that little rant just before the title card comes up then your face afterwards. Menace 2 Society, your face says "no shit, I get it."

You should react to Colors from 1988. It’s the mainly the cop’s perspective of the LA streets but it also has the gang perspective at times. It’s brutal but real. You’ll like it tho.

Can you react to “Paid In Full” it’s similar to this as far as violent hood classics go, and if you find the time maybe you could check out a underrated black comedy entitled “King’s Ransom” starring Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, & Charlie Murphy
