If I defer and my ielts test expires do I need to resit ?

The implication of deferring means that you don’t need to submit a new application for admission. You already have the admission, you are just postponing when you are starting.

I see you are married... What happens if you get pregnant as a GA/GRA during your study? Do you loose your spot?

No I didn’t. I went through graduate school as a pregnant woman then as a mom and I still was a graduate assistant. It’s just communication
