IBO 2020 - IBO Challenge 2020 at Nagasaki / Japan - Memorial Video

In 2020, IBO had to face a global pandemic for the first time. Our colleagues in Japan worked tirelessly to transfer our usual annual "live" competition into the first ever digital IBO event - the IBO Challenge 2020! Despite all the drawbacks of the pandemic, more than 50 countries were able to participate and made this virtual competition a success! The 2020 organizers also provided the first group-level, project-based competition. These projects were organized on a voluntary basis independently from theoretical and practicals exams and provided participants with extensive opportunities for the very important intercultural exchange that defines IBO.
