I’m sure the pigs were happy that the cows didn’t want the pumpkins!

Pumpkin tip: they love growing near or out of a compost heap as they love very rich composty soil. Any squash type plant does.

I was waiting to see if you gave some pumpkin to the chickens. They love pumpkin, watermelon, berries, etc as a treat.

I can't believe that your farm of families are getting bigger. I like that you're both working together. I'm happy for your family. Is there a possible chance that we could come & tour your farm with our grandkids someday, when we're in the area?❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve noticed since you removed your trees along the top road the sound of the traffic on the top road is definitely far more intrusive! Were the trees originally planted as an environmental sound barrier? In uk we plant hedges and trees to create environmental barriers and green corridors for wid animals/birds. ❤

I may have missed the explanation, but what’s the purpose of having two bulls when there’s only a handful of cows to breed? Seems excessive and adding another female would’ve made more sense. Not being rude, just curious. Keep up the good videos!

Hey Nick thanks and no worries. So the reason we decided to go ahead and get two bulls is two fold. 1. we wanted something young enough that we could get hands on. We selected bulls from people that spent time with them and had them pretty friendly and sociable so that they'd be easier to manage as they got older. 2. Our goal is to breed "mini highlands". The Dexter will be used to help bring the size down and the highland to breed back to the offspring. However since the dexter isnt old enough to breed yet we are using the highland to breed the girls in hopes of getting a few more heifers. Our luck though theyll all be bulls lol. Hope that answers it
