    Self-care is so important, especially in Lockdown. Thank you! I found both of your videos useful. :)

    This is so helpful ! I applied for the think ahead programme but was unsuccessful I’m now looking to apply directly via UCAS however like you I have responsibilities. Pls keep us updated x

      I think a masters is better anyway, as you can do a mental health placement as well as others to figure out what you like. So don't worry about the unsuccessful application. Advance planning will help you keep on top of all your responsibilities & have a good work, life balance. Remember selfcare! All the best with your UCAS application & studies!

      Hi Noreen1ful, thank you. That's great, being nervous is normal. But you will catch onto everything quickly if you are diligent with your studies. I am open about working either adults or children's. Yeah sure, you can drop questions here or on my IG handle. I will try my best to answer. All the best with your studies!

    Very informative video, thanks for making it. I just have one question please, the placements which is mandatory as a part of the study can we as a student can choose where we want to do it or the university will have a complete control over it? Please let me know. Thanks.

    Hello , can you give me an idea of what your time table looked like while you was studying at Brunel university. I’m looking forward to start my ma social work course in September but would like to know how many days I’ll be on campus and how many days off campus Xx

    Ma'am can you make a video on the top universities that provide master's in clinical social work? I am a bsw student and I want to move to abroad for my msw in clinical practice but the consultants in India have zero knowledge and even the internet don't have proper information about the clinical specialisation and since you are already in this field, I would really appreciate if you can make a video on it.
    Thank you

      Hello Pallabi, here in the UK when you study Social Work u can go in any field, mental health, clinical normally called hospital SW etc. SW degree can be used in any field. The only difference is that you either do Adults or Children's when you complete your degree depending on where your interests are.

    Hello, is there any difference between MA Social Work and MSW ? Can you recommend a few Universities to study MSW ? I’m on dependant VISA. Hope to hear from you soon.
    Thank you

      Hi Jinu, no difference at all. Checkout league table to see how unis do comparatively. I would recommend you go to a Uni that offers a good placement e.g. in a LA as this is very good knowledge when you graduate. All the best with your studies!🙂

    Can I say criminology is related to social work?

    • @simplydadii
      @simplydadii  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are talking about youth justice or forensic social workers. I would say it is similar. I guess it is similar in the sense that we look at people holistically & their environments & try support, promote social justice & empowerment.

    Hi Dadi your zim sis here can i do my masters online whilist working in the uk . Kindly advise if you know any

    • @simplydadii
      @simplydadii  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello. Yes check Open University for distance learning social work courses. You can work & learn but the course is very intense. You have to be disciplined about study. When placement starts it's full time so you will need time off from work or swap shifts if u have the flexibility. All the best on your Social Work journey!

    What was one of the aptitude test that you did. What was one of the scenario tests you did

    What was that comprehension test about?

    • @simplydadii
      @simplydadii  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't completely remember the test. From what I recall it was an aptitude test which assesses an individual's aptitude to become a social worker. I think I also remember case scenarios.

    Thanks Dadi, I am looking for postgraduate social work in U. K. So is there any difference between MA social work , MSC social work or MSW.?

    • @simplydadii
      @simplydadii  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ashna, none at all. It's all the same thing. So like a MSW is a master in science in SW. It's to do with the department the SW course is but is the same degree. Hope that makes sense. 😁

    • @simplydadii
      @simplydadii  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, no social work exam as such. But aptitude tests. It's not too hard, it's not testing intelligence but more of a situational judgement I think. Hope this helps!
