Great title! Also, the indicators changing from 1 to 3 is yet another appearance of the number 13, on Friday the 13th, in this year of chaos. In addition, since the indicator displays floor 2 on not one, but both indicators, and no such floor actually exists between "1" and "3" (although "3" is really the second floor), we have zero floor 2 twice, or 0202... which is 2020 backwards. These coincidences are everywhere
Doesnt look too bad! I like the glass doors and at least it looks reasonably clean. Elevators in Parking garage (multi story carparks) in Europe tend to be dirty and smell pretty bad. By the way Love watching your videos.
I can pretty much agree with everything you've said about the doors and these being clean, however, these are not reliable whatsoever and are pretty glitchy. Glad to hear you enjoy my vids though!:)

I know why there is the floor indicator thing. Because KONE on 2 level Ecodisc installs they add a pseudo floor in between the 2 floors. I don’t know why it has something to do with the logic. They installed it wrong so it counts that as an actual floor even tho it’s not supposed to show up on the indicator
@@theelevatorenthousiast-452 yeah that’s what I am saying either they set it up incorrectly or the computer rebooted or something and defaulted to 1,2,3. You see it a lot on Schindler MT’s where the controller shows the wrong floor numbers.
I still don’t see anything wrong with KONE lifts 😅 Especially this one. I dunno how it’s “cheap” while it costs like 33K US dollars, which is a reasonable price for lifts. And about that number 3 on floor 2, it’s just that it’s configured that way. It’s just a matter of changing a parameter in a menu in the settings and it’s now floor 2. I think the problem about KONE in America is lack of good maintenance, as you can see by the broken door open button on the first one.
@@TechNerdNolan Well price doesn’t necessarily determine quality. I get what you mean though, many lift enthusiasts call some badly maintained lifts “cheap” even though they cost a fortune. Doesn’t really make sense though lol.
KONEs are in European the Best but American KONEs are very different. In European KONE has the *best* Logic ever. And the Design also is not bad. WHY THEY ARE SO DIFFERENT/SHIT IN AMERICAN?!
a 2 year old kone ecodisc at one of my local parking garages was broken when I tried to ride it and you could hear the brake making some very… interesting noises… it sounded like the elevator couldn’t find where it was or something because the motor kept starting and stopping… great controller lol. this elevator is decent, the glass doors are a nice touch.
KONE makes great products and they are constantly improving too. idk what your purpose of this video is. Every elevator company has good and bad elevators. They made a bold decision to not sell hydros anymore and their pushing their technology with their newer and better products.
I'm sure you saw the video of the OTIS Touch Button elevator I filmed, but have you seen my KONE EcoDisc elevator videos? I know KONE is your least favorite elevator, but you should see some videos of KONE elevators that I filmed to give me some thoughts.
2 is actually a pseudo floor coded into the elevator, so floor 2 becomes floor 3. A pseudo floor is a floor it doesn't stop it normally (only stops during an emergency I think)
Some more epic British Ecodsics: The car park lifts at Redrock in Stockport, the lift in Halle Place at the Arndale Centre in Manchester, the lifts at the Inverness Royal Academy, the lift at New Look in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin, the Ecodisc at the old H&M and the Ecodiscs in the new H&M at At. Davids Shopping Centre in Cardiff and the lift at Asda Queslett.
Hi, I just saw your video and I see that you too don't like KONE Ecodisc, I must say that I'm not a fan either but personally I hate all MRL lifts, I find that since the invention of this type of bullshit elevators, all manufacturers try to copy on shitty products. Unfortunately many people buy this type of cheap lift because they are cheaper and too often the lifts are finished like in your video.
I would disagree with that, at least Thyssenkrupp still has a large variety of solid elevator options, at least in terms of their MR Elevators. KONEs Alta and Polaris Elevators aren't too bad, but in addition to their MRLs sucking, MR models like MiniSpace and EcoSystem MR Traction also feel and look very cheaply made

They did the setup wrong, it shows 1,2,3 but they needed to set it to 1, 1, 2

Kone Ecodisc lifts are epic lifts here in Europe. and they are definitely not cheap. Schindler 3300 are way worse... That is an actual tin can
