Nigeria is a failed state even with her abundance humans and natural resources the country lack better infrastructures and if you visit Ivory Coast, Senegal,Cape Verde you will be ashamed to be a Nigerian, go to any of these countries and see how developing they are with better infrastructures even with little natural resources compare to zoo Nigeria.

Detty is a Nigerian slang. Make your eyes "detty" has been in use since Fela Kuti. Please Mr Easy Manager did not coin no crap!! Please stop the misinformation. Even the same guy (Mr Eazy manager) spelt it wrongly in that same tweet of the event in Nigeria before he was corrected by a Nigerian. That it's not dirty but detty. 2face reference "Make your eyes detty" is one of such phrases in our music since time immemorial!! Peace.

Mr Eazi didnt coin Detty December, it was already in use for over a decade as a street slang in Lagos also Calabar bcos of the Calabar carnival before Eazi jumped on it and trade marked....it was him that took it to Ghana in 2016, or thereabouts

    • @princejames1773

How did he bring it to Ghana when he's been here since 2007? Besides he himself said, and it's a fact, that his manager was the one who coined the word. There's even proof of Nigerians going to official research sites to rewrite history with its connection to Ghana, and failing at it unfortunately

What is the meaning of detty in Ghanaian slang? Show me anywhere that slang has ever been used in Ghana's history? You guys keep your inferiority complex out of Nigeria stuff. Even that same event was done in Nigeria first. The same guy even spelt it wrongly in his tweet and was corrected by a Nigerian. He spelt it as dirty before a Nigerian corrected him that it's detty! Tourism has been going on forever in Kenyan, Tanzania, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, etc. The tourism success in these countries were never considered Africa's success. They were all considered respective countries success. But the only one time Nigeria does something that attracts world attention, other African countries get triggered negatively by it? Case in point: Ghana.
Why is a win for Ghana, a win for Ghana? Why is a win for Kenya, a win for Kenya? But a win for Nigeria, is a win for Africa? These are the same countries who hate Nigeria, and wishes nothing good about Nigeria. Especially Ghana.

I'm not easily impressed, but you got me looking forward to part 2.
I learnt a few things and ideas from you.
One thing to improve on some of the scenes was not bright enough. Maybe it was the camera or time of the day. Maybe you want to include more of the raw sound from the scenes as well; it would have been nice to hear the dj blasting the songs or sounds of the environment just to mix things up.
    Keep it going. Kudos.

You can tell when you see foreigners at Nigeria beaches because of the way they dress to the beach. Nigerian women are covered going to the beach as if they’re going to the club. More improvements need to be made to infrastructure around the state especially Lagos controlling its own electricity and road network.

*Detty December* already exists in Nigeria's socio-cultural milieu as an expression and as a cultural event long long before the emergence of the said Mr Easy as an artiste in Nigeria. And to be clear, it has nothing to do with Ghana or Ghanaians. There is no controversy at all as to its origin. None.
