- This build will elevate your gameplay in THE FINALS Season 2, not just because of the new gadgets but actually how they all form together to work in keeping you alive AND working on the cashout to stop steals.
Currently, there is some frustration with how the damage is dealt with the dematerializer, so just be aware that sometimes when you attempt to drop it, it may need an extra charge (you can use the utility to protect you).
It's a first part of the series for Season 2, we will go in depth on the best scenarios to use this build - including attacking and defending cashouts.

I always thought that goo was super underrated. I've seen people do some crazy stuff with the heavy's goo gun. Always love this kind of creative thinking. Great vid!
Yeah the heavy goo gun is actually nuts haha just an alternative way of playing the game, the goo grenade has indirectly helped me with a lot of fight stuff too allowing me to steal etc
There’s so many fun things people never expect you to be able to do with the goo gun. I’ve gotten pretty good at parkouring on the side of buildings with the goo gun so I can attack from an angle they don’t defend from

Great video and loadout idea. I suck at nades in general so I'm not always able to use the goo nade right, but with the right throw it can act like a stun gun substitute, freezing an enemy enough to shoot and kill them -- if that doesn't happen it's a quick block.
Also would love to see a video making the most out of the data reshaper as well. It goes crazy in some cashout locations in Sys-Horizon -- one in particular is inside the office conference room, there's lots of chairs to pile up and get many barrels out of them and just throw them down at enemies lol

I've been playing a support heavy light with the teleport device doing rollouts for my team and I absolutely love it. One example is you can take them from the alley spawn on power shift Monaco all the way to the far side roof of the cathedral. It's so much fun to put heavies in spots they shouldn't be faster than they should be there

@@THiiXY I feel like it's best to try communicating with your team (using a mic) in the character screen. If they respond, it might be safe to go with the healing beam and defibs, but if not, then your loadout would be the safest option
Will definitely be using your loadout more, the dematerializer is op, but sometimes I just forget I have it as my specialization lol, getting used to it will take some practice
Yeah 100% if they are actively trying to team work then for sure go for that, it's just currently a lot of players kind of don't play the objective so players like us trying to actually climb ranked have to pick up the slacks haha
Goo granade its underated fr, some people said we can just take the goo barrel, but goo granade it just more instant than they thought
Exactly and the thing is being able to do moves like corner goo, into dematerializer, into climb to shoot from above is really strong.
For me goo grenades was always good, I was watching staycation do some crazy spot setups to defend with them, because not everyone run mollys, also personally I like the mines (gas) because you get 2 charges that you can use and shoot them to blow up from a safe place ( above ) or close pathways from enemys, BUT ye your build is solid I might have to try it out !
Yeah staycation makes great stuff too! I did have in my old build Explosive Mines and Gas Mines because defense wise it's strong, but I feel the shift towards being able to destroy stuff with Medium and having goo as a protection, I think if you want, you could swap jump pad / data reshaper with gas mine too, let me know how it goes! :D
@@THiiXY mate I got a question that should be mentioned in one of your videos and that is "how does ranks work" I played 12 matches that got through the 3rd round and still havent ranked up! I dont understand if KDA boost your mmr or smth I am genuinely confused as many people are
Great video, be mindful of pyro grenades on goo as most people have started countering goo with pyro. Stuck in a corner on fire would be an issue, especially without the dematerializer.
Yeah good shout, and glad you touched on it with the importance of the dematerialiser too because of course you wouldn’t want to goo in corner without any exit/walls destruction ability :)
Another great use for the goo grenade is when your defending place it in doorways to slow down attackers. This is very useful if the building has no windows
I got the finals when it came out and I’ve never really been onto the major strats. I’ve just been playing it for fun, but since you said casual can use this, I’m going to use this.

A tric you missed with the goo grenade. If you hit a corner of like the connection of the floor and wall, the goo grenade deploys at half height. What this does is give medium and lights kind of a ghetto barricade at their height.

My buddy and I had a crazy 5-head play the other day accidently. We were attacking a cashout on the new map. I went two floors below the box and he went one floor above. We were both loosly coordinating and i dematerialize the floor above me then jump pad to demateralize the floor under the cashbox. Meanwhile he was above dematerializing that floor to peek. At that instant the cashbox dropped, hit my bounce pad, flew up three floors, deflected off the ceiling onto the top floor for him to get a free steal bc the other team was focused on me lol

0:30 I relate to this so I end up solo queueing a lot anf either making randos mad or them making me mad bc poor focus or coordination. Still a fun game, and I like to share videos like these with them to help them when they do play with me.
I run a explosive instead of gas so I can break things like at 7:53. I use one to explode all the small things up then dematerilze. Cash outs can still be placed in weird situations just a heads up.

Been loving the revolver. Since i started using it my kills have gone way up. I use frag, defib, and jump pad rn. But ill probably switch to goo because i can see the versatility of it and it helping you survive. I also use the demat specialization and ive been seeing good success with that as well. Hope to make it up the ranks 😊
Ayyy great combos I like that! Yeah goo has helped quite a lot, the first few games you might make a few mistakes but once you learn how to place them when stealing or survival it's waaay more effective

also, the goo can be used with the jump pad, if u put the jump pad on the goo on an angle, you can launch yourself behind the enemy and catch them off guard

Yes! I am pretty happy with the heavy strat but right now I'm trying to figure out the best strat for light. I've been testing a lot and struggling to find something for (SOLO) players but I think I'm close to having something figured out :)

You have always started with 2 goo grenades. Been running them all season 1. So good to run away from people like you showed, even more so now with dematerializer. Before i would just goo the door to run but now its goo> demat through wall> close it > flank.
Yeah exactly, people have been saying that not having defib is also troll, but if you're able to full revive and spend an extra 3 seconds or so reviving in the corner it's way more effective than waiting for a team mate to be revived at 50% hp

I was a CL-40 main in season one with explosive mines, now they nerfed it (only deals 20% dmg if triggered unprimed) I had to swap to gasmines. But I just don’t feel it with gasmines. Needed something new and this looks so promising. Thanks for that.
Yeah sometimes it can be annoying but I like coming up with unique ideas etc in this game depending on the balance changes etc, it's annoying as it is fun haha

On Monaco during Power shift I was reviving a buddies trophy while getting chased by a lightweight. I used the de-materializer to open a wall underneath a staircase and closed it to revive safely...but as I closed the wall the lightweight got in and killed us both...and was trapped in there LMAO

What is your mouse sensitivity when you use this gun on the video? I'm starting to play with that gun but I'm having a hard time with accuracy
Hey! I use 34 in game with 800dpi. Hope that helps! I think that the key is usually to try be more patient rather than going for "flicks" etc you might be doing that without realising, try to really keep your crosshair on the target the entire time. I see people flick on shot flick off rather than steady it... hope that helps!
Bro we came to the same exact loadout. I usually swap between the scar and shotgun. Also I use the frag instead of the gas sometimes.
Goo is super underrated and is my most productive gadget. Besides the obvious uses like blocking access points or line of sights, or traversing. I find it very useful to use as instant cover that you can shoot over. Just throw it low against a wall and you have cover that you can shoot over and duck behind.
1000% and yeah I think people don't see the value in it because it doesn't directly contribute to eliminations or something, but indirectly being able to stop players entering a building or being able to shield yourself when low is really strong.
The only thing I don’t like about this load out is the heavy’s who use the flamethrower
I understand you in your last point where you were saying that you know you didn’t make up the strat but since you been doing it you see others using it. During season 1 when recon senses was strong I was wondering why no one was using tracking dart. I tested it and realized it’s actually OP. So I used it in some ranked games. The next day I seen some others use it and even someone told me “hey aren’t you that guy with the tracking dart, bro you don’t miss”
Hahaha yeah it’s funny how it works, I think when you have something so different and out of meta that even slightly works, people kind of get surprised about that and tend to follow and test it as well lol

Side note, when you said goo I thought you were going to goo the walls so they can’t demat the walls but then you showed that you can destroy goo with it. That’s crazy.
Yeah I like to show both strengths and weaknesses too because 1. no strat is truely a "god" strat and 2. I like to show my viewers reality in the sense that, if this ever happens to them, they know how to counter themselves :)
Hey, I was a bit curious how you would deal with cash outs in the open. The loadout seems very building reliant especially with the dematerializer and goo plays.

Yeah this is a good question, I'll say that there are very few cashouts that put you in the scenario of being "in the open" what I'd do here - because on HORIZON there are a few is as Brooklyn said, try to avoid approaching from the open and waiting for the team to support you to fight instead of just using utility, then use Goo as cover when stealing for insurance. Or I would try to ping for a rotation to a cashout that isn't in the open, so we can third party for a better steal. Hopefully that makes sense.
Nice video, but i see a flaw with the goo is that usually one person in your game has a fire grenade and in a close corner like that with the goo you will get bloiled low and slow being between the goo
Well if anything was to happen, I'd just use the demat to exit. Also if there is flames on site, then you're able to throw the goo on the cashout, to extend the range of the fire against people trying to steal too :)
you can shoot goo with any gun and break all goo if you know which one to shoot, but this is nice making my climb to diamond easier with this loadouts :D
Yes and I even gave an example of how you can get rid of goo instantly without any bullets. If you hear the shots, you wouldn’t just freeze you have the demat

100% it's actually saved me a lot, again it's my current build based on matches I've played but being able to combine it with dematerializer is useful for climbing out and moving.

I use akm and fcar and use the grenade when im low and a light is rushing me i just toss a nade while runnin high chances are he will surely die nd yes goo really helps cause we mediums have no cover ability to hide when we are low so goo good and if they made the demat shapes a square or a circle would have helped

Chuck down the goo and you can easily angle the jump pad on the edge goo pieces that’ll help launch the cashout ez

Aha yeah that’s fair enough, I just feel like defib kind of leaves you open to others charging you down because they know last player will be up with 50% health, which is manageable
@@THiiXY definitely true last season. Now with the delay I find in situations like those to line your aim on the head of anyone trying to prefire you and get some headshots before they can kill you.

Yeah it’s a fair point too, the reason why I’m loving the goo grenade right now is to be able to shield on site to avoid being rushed upon to stop cashout, again I could do an update or part 2 if anything changes but it’s really able to stop people entering rooms too for steals
What do you use in your reserve
I’ll put in the AKM/FCAR because the final round typically has longer range fights depending on the map, also the jump pad / data reshaper depending on the match before. Also you could use frag grenade or mines instead of gas grenade if you notice teams are running flamethrower or ignite.

Is defib still a must?
I'll be honest, I have never really fun the defib just because I prefer to pickup, revive in a safer spot. If I defib quickly in action, what tends to happy is my team gets RPG'ed etc so, if I can make up for my lack of "support" with being able to help steal/defend then I feel it's not so bad.

That works well too! I just use this as a new alternative because mediums can now protect/handle the cashout with the dematerializer, which before that role relied on us to deal damage to stop cashouts etc

Hey! No I only use the crosshair in game, it's the white one with low opacity, I like the opacity low with shotgun as it helps me try focus more on the target
Wow! I have the same loadout as you except instead of goo grenade it is zipline. I decided on using both zipline and jump pad because the new map is very large. I wish medium still had sonar grenade or at least recon senses.
Yeah it’s pretty weird that they changed medium up like that, I still don’t know why really as I hadn’t seen anyone really ask for those changes but oh well I guess lol
One thing about this game is you really got to swim different waters. Not every load out is good for every match.

Switching up your play style mid game / where the cash out is , it can throw the flow of the game off in your teams favor
Eh I don't really agree, for example if you are a light main and you notice that you're playing against a very good invis light, it doesn't hurt much to switch out frag grenade with thermals in the final round for example to give you a higher counter chance, just from my perspective but I'm not a good player at all so what do I know aha

Absolutely insane not to use the defibrillator on medium, even solo
Two arguments to this based on my experience since Alpha;
1. Spending an extra 2/3 seconds fully reviving someone is more value if the utility that replaces the defib contributes to the cashout/objective.
2. If the player you’re queued with isn’t knowledgeable, and only goes for kills instead of cashouts, then again, spending utility in that area is a waste.
I’ve tried and tested these things in many games, just preference and experience. In team play I would use the defib & heal.

I feel like especially after the update, I noticed ranked teams tend to push you after you defib someone, for me, I can grab the statue goo in corner then receive fully so they are up with 100% health instead of 50% too

Playing medium without defibs should be an actual crime.
Personally from my experience I prefer to full revive in the scenario that I’m playing as a solo, instances in the past have had players simply rpg after I defib or full rush down. So now I have demat, I can easily drop a floor down, full revive and get back on it. If I promise better utility elsewhere (for example to support steals or defences in cashouts) that makes up for it in my opinion.
corner goo is bad strat dude, 1 fire nade or gas nade and ur screwed, only usable if no one is following and in that case theres no need for cover
But you have dematerializer? Just confused because I did say that the goo can be destroyed, maybe I'm a little boring so it was skipped over haha, but thanks for the heads up!

Still in progress! Right now I need to do more testing because with my current build lights a little on the weaker end with the attacking front, so I'm just mixing up some more ideas, I want to make sure y'all love the builds and they have logic rather than throwing out any random stuff haha

I'm glad people are realizing that the 1887 actually slaps instead of constantly picking the FCAR crutch.
It doesnt slap, it's extremely inconsistent and underpowered. The revolver is a way more productive weapon, at every front.

Yeah I really like the 1887, sure sometimes it's inconsistent but overall it's never made me think that I want to change it out for a FCAR for ex. Again when lights stun you, you still have that accuracy etc as an added bonus so, it's aight but I see why people don't like it.

Have you logged in with your embark ID? If you made one during the first time you played you will link it to steam or console. Worst case contact support they are very helpful
@@THiiXY thx for responding back but I just realized since I have so much steam accounts, I lost track in which one I actually had the account in since usually I don't use that account but soon after I went into it, I found it in my library so yeah, I just realized how dumb I was😅😅
Not playing defib on medium is the most troll loadout ever
Hate goo, when someone places it most times I just shoot that bit to insta break it… It may help the individual but messes up your own team. (Just like castle from siege)
Oh fair play - for me it’s been pretty successful in stealing cashouts (because by the time they shoot it and chase me down team mates are already shooting them) and successful in having cover when low. Any counters haven’t been effective so far, but again I understand your point
When I play ranked I die in 3 seconds. Most times can’t survive to put people away even if I was landing all headshots.

The Goo-Grenade has been my Go-To since I've started playing, the Versatility is great, Offense/Defense/building Steuctures to reach hard to reach Places, it baffles me that almost noone goes for it
