    6. I'd do that face to face, to show respect to the person we were with.
    7. If I hadn't gone to work, I would sleep longer and take a long walk.
    8. I would have ended it when I find out about that.
    9. When I was younger, I would run every day, would play with a bean, would sing in an empty room and I used to be alone.

Hey, Aly. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with us. You're great!
    My answers:
    - Do you mind teaching me how to sing like a good opera singer?
    - When I was a child, I thought I would become a superhero, just like Superman or Green Lantern.
    - My friend Frank wouldn't join me for a classical music concert since he was feeling a bit under the weather.
    - If I met my favorite celebrity, it'd be Cecilia Bartoli. I'd tell her that I admire her and all the effort she's made to reach her goals and spread her love for singing. I'd also ask her if I could hug her and sing a piece for me.
    - If a friend had to break up with his girlfriend, I'd advise him to do it as soon as possible and without beating around the bush too much.
    - If I hadn't gone to school today, I would've continued reading the book my mother gave me yesterday morning.
    - I would've broken up with him straight away.
    - When I was a child, I would play with my friend Daniel every day after school. I'd also disobey my mother and argue with my two younger brothers. Besides that, I used to be less discipline as well as a bit less slim.
    Wish you a good day!

    1. Would you mind me sharing your awesome videos with my friends, Aly?
    2. As a child, I thought I would be a vet, but I’m allergic to all kinds of pets, so it didn’t happen.
    3. Your friend told you she’d send you a photo of their new puppy later.
    4. I asked a friend of mine to join me for a trip to another city on the Independence day, but she wouldn’t come because a new episode of The Handmaid’s Tale was on TV at that time and she didn’t want to miss it. I forgave her. Eventually.
    5. If I met Collin Farrell I wouldn’t be able to move or do anything at all; I would stare at him as if I saw a ghost, try to smile, say hello and run away.
    6. If I had to break up with somebody I would do it face to face, no matter how hard it might be. It just seems to be the right way to do it.
    7. It’s Saturday, so I don’t have to work today.. But if I had gone to work today, I wouldn’t have eaten all the food from the fridge. And I wouldn’t have to go out and buy some more now..
    8. If my bf had cheated on me I would be pissed. That’s why I prefer keeping it casual with other people. There’s no such thing as cheating when you don’t have a boyfriend.
    9. When I was a child I used to like reading, I would read one book after another, but I would hate being called a bookworm. I used to be less sociable than I am now. But I used to look just as ugly as I do now =/

    These are my attempts:
1- would you mind irony for me, today?
2-I knew I would be a chemist or something similar.
3- my friend said he would send the photos later
4- Lina wouldn't join us for MG's birthday because she prefer to go to the beach
5- I would meet famous card maker to make a wishing card with her
6- I'd break with him next time he phone you.
7- I miss this question LOL
8- I think I would've given him an other opportunity.
9- when I was a teenager I'd playing tennis, I'd go out with my friends every week.
    Thanks.

    Questions
1.- Would you mind bringing me a glass of water?
2.- I thought when I was young that I would be a doctor.
3.- She said that she would do it later.
4.- I asked to my friend if he had my pencil, but he wouldn't answer me.
5.- If I met Papa Teach, I would talk him about his excelent work on the videos!
6.- I'd do it in the more polite and friendly way as possible. In person seems to me the best option for formal stuff.
7.- If I hadn't stayed in my home today, I would be at the streets all day long.
8.- If my hipothetycal girlfriend had cheated on me, I would´ve talked with her inmediatly for clear the situation and get over. If it's possible togheter, and if it´s not, I would end off the relationship.
9.- A years ago, I'd go to the park everyday after school, when I used to be more thin.
Extra (3rd conditional): If he wouldn't have knew that, he probably would be alive.
Qué interesante, noté que el verbo modal "Would" es la forma que se tiene en inglés para expresar lo que en español serían las conjugaciones del subjuntivo. Este fue un vídeo muy explicativo y útil, ¡gracias!

    4. I invited Estevan for this ‘feijoada’ today, but he wouldn’t come along ‘cause he had a birthday party.
    5. If I met Roger Federer, I would probably collapse and after regaining consciousness I would say he’s the best tennis player EVER (the GOAT!) and it’s quite a blast watching him play on grass court.
    6. I’d totally do it face to face! OK, you don’t love him anymore (or maybe you never did), but the least you could do is show some respect, you know?
    7. If I hadn’t gone to work today, I would have gone for a walk on the beach.
    8. I would have broken up with him.

English food was yummy..simple and fresh ingredients. My best holiday ever was last month. A week in a narrowboat, cruising oxford canal,i had slow grilled porkchop(came from organic, old style kind of raising oinky) mashed baby potato with skin on, lots of lurpak, salt &peppr, steamd sprouts,carrots,broccoli...wow it was yummy and very healthy! Im sick of too much herbs and spices food

Hi Aly! You're obviously the best teacher, I love your videos. I had lately a serious conversation with my English boyfriend about the sentence "Knocking on the door is a delivery man". I've never heard this construction and I can't find any rules about it. It sounds like reverse present continuous but with something missing, I'd never use it or put " there" in the middle. Could you please help me to understand it?
