    Everything is fine. But you can't replace your father's wish for bullet with a RE classic. The Bullet 350 still exist in its own royal form!

      The most important point that one should dislike about this bike is the complete elimination of the kick start.

      @@nilsworld59 100% right point u said. If this bike gone out of battery just think what will be the scenario. Kick start is an essential part. They should atleast keep it optional.

    point no. 2 - rear break par hamesa foot rehta hai toh city ride pe ankle pain hota hai ,
    Point no. 3 - rear suspension itna ganda hai ki , chota mota gadda pe v back me pain deta hai ... Bas itna problem mujhe lagta hai baki sab manageable hai.. LED n all can be adjust because iska headlight kafi strong light produce karke deta hai city me v and highway pe v...

    Bhai very good video my view I own a Royal Enfield Bullet 1962 and then I bought a new Thunderbird 350x had to sell it within 2100 kms due to engine troubles and service centre denying any service of any kind sorry but it looked like either a Royal Enfield fanboy video or a paid promotion because it cannot happen that you buy a new New Royal Enfield and not regret it. PS I love my bullet 1962 but dude it sounds like a paid video please do not misguide your viewers man.

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Thank you so much for the compliment. I regret the issues you faced with your Thunderbird. I’ve been through the same with my 2017 KTM Duke 390 where the coolant was mixing with the engine oil and the service centre couldn’t fix it at all. I know how helpless you feel at that point.
      On another note, I’m very disappointed that you found my genuine reaction to be that of an RE fanboy or a paid promotion. In all honesty, let alone getting a single rupee from Royal Enfield, I chased them for months to lend me a motorcycle for a review and just kept getting useless emails in return. Maybe because they don’t entertain content creators who haven’t hit celebrity status, probably. I had to borrow my friend’s motorcycle, and he was kind enough to lend it to me. This was because I wanted to see for myself if Royal Enfield have really improved themselves or not. I’ve ridden many Bullets and Classics, starting from my father’s 1970s Bullet all the way to my friend’s 2016 Classic. I was just pleasantly surprised, something I really did not expect from RE. The fact that they brought fuel injected engines to the Classic itself was a major contributor to my joy.
      No, I don’t own a Royal Enfield. And probably never will. Hence, I won’t ever find out the pains that come with it. So, I shared only the joy one feels while riding the new Classic. Ownership feels will be part of a different video, if at all. Not aiming to misguide anyone, and my sincerest apologies if I did so 🙏

      It’s a matter of personal taste and preference. Personally, I would go for the Honda for its reliability and international track record. But that is not a comment on Royal Enfield’s quality and reliability. They have truly outdone their own standards with the new 350 platform. So, any choice you make will be a good one here. Interceptor 650 or Classic 350? Any suggestions on how to choose?

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on what your budget is. The 650 is fairly more expensive than the Classic. Also, the larger engine and bigger build makes it highway-ready. City commutes will prove to be relatively more difficult, and way hotter. Especially if you live in a city like Mumbai. If you’d like to chat more, I say Instagram would be more convenient. Thank you so much for your kind words 🤗 Wish you all the very best on owning the Classic 350 Reborn. Do have a look at the Hunter 350 also. I personally loved the value that it offers at the price point.
      Answer to your question: if you’re only using the Classic to ride within the city and to nearby places on weekends, then don’t go for the Deluxe Footpegs. The standard one is comfortable enough for short to medium rides. If you plan to go on long-distance, multiple day rides, then the deluxe pegs offer some degree of comfort over the standard ones. Also, vibrations are reduced to some extent. But that does not mean that the standard pegs have a lot of vibrations. They are pretty vibration-free up to 100 kmph

      😂 Don’t be led into temptation
      There will be many bikes, no doubt extremely good and capable ones, that will come and go. But you have to remind yourself of the reason why you fell in love with and booked the Classic. Honestly, if I had to choose between the Classic 350 and the Dominar 400, I would pick the latter. But that’s a personal choice. And you have to make yours and enjoy it to the fullest 😊

    Hi Sharan, what's your take on getting the Redditch series? My concerns are regarding the spoke wheels, tube tyres and rear drum brakes.

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Redditch series, even though being the base variant, is really good. What are your concerns regarding the wheels and brakes exactly?

    • @AkashYadav-kp6hi
      @AkashYadav-kp6hi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SharanShagun I've always had alloys in my bikes till date so that gives me tubeless tyres. With Spoked wheels, I will get tube type tyres which will get punctured immediately. As for the brakes, is the rear drum an issue or it works just fine?
      If I customize C350 to add dual disc and alloys, it becomes costlier than Meteor which actually comes with Tripper and other features along with a more peppy tuning, bigger tank, alloys-tubeless by default.

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I think in that case the Meteor should be the choice you should go for. Last weekend, I went on a 600 km ride with a group in which there were 2 meteors. Neither of them complained of fatigue or discomfort. The Classic 350 is comfortable too, but if you don’t want spoked wheels, tubed tyres or drum brakes, you could go with the Meteor. Might I also suggest testing the Honda H’Ness? You never know which bike could suit you, as it’s a very subjective affair.

  • @neosmith166
    @neosmith166 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    Regarding Honda CB 350, I didn't feel it was retro enough. Felt like a standard commuter bike where the bits and parts were made chrome and a bassier exhaust pipe added.. because it had to compete in a market segment which is ruled by Royal Enfield. It didn't feel quite sincere although highness engine is indeed pretty refined.

    • @dheerajyadav8134
      @dheerajyadav8134 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Hi ,
    Am going from splendour pro to Royal Enfield, am 5.5 height, this is going to be my first royal enfeld experience, most of my ride time would be in city, I was thinking of buying either classic 350es or interceptor 650.
    What would you recommend?
    I would take the test rides, however, please tell me one thing,which would you recommend classic or interceptor? For a first timer?
    There is new classic launched end of this year, should I wait for it or buy classic earlier.
    Please let me know

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Going from splendour to a higher powered motorcycle, it would be advisable to gradually increase your level. I would advise you to go for the Classic rather than the Interceptor as the latter is heavier and high powered. Height should not be an issue as you will get used to it very quickly.
      Plus, since you plan to ride it mostly in the city, the Interceptor is a strict no as it’s too bulky, hot, and overpowered for city riding.
      Do take the test rides for both motorcycles and get a feel for them. You could also look at something other than Royal Enfields as most of them are heavyset. How about a Yamaha or a Honda? Or TVS if you’re a patriotic Indian.
      Do let us know when you’ve finally decided. All the best and safe riding! ❤️

      @@SharanShagun don't know your experience, but I missed it. My 1st one had Kickstarter, it was a BS4 2017 model. Though the new one is far better than the previous one but I miss thr Kickstarter. In a bullet Kickstarter should be a must. Without Kickstarter... other bikes... It's ok. But a classic 350 without starter is hard to digest. It's a retro bike and the feeling to Kickstart a classic 350 was awesome. You may not agree as you are riding without it for last 12 years I can understand😉

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure you had a carburettor model earlier. The BS4 did not have FI. So I think I disagree with you. FI models really don’t need the kickstarter, as long as the battery’s active. And once the battery’s dead, then you’d best replace it and you’ll be good to go for 4 more years. So I really fail to understand what the whole fuss about the kickstarter is. I guess a feeling is a feeling. Maybe I don’t get it. I really haven’t ever felt the need for a kickstarter, especially in a fuel injected, manual transmission vehicle. It’s like putting the hand-crank in a new-age petrol car. It’s redundant

      You must test ride both the bikes extensively. Walk into the showrooms and sit on both bikes on the stand for 10-15 minutes aaram se. Get the feel of the bikes and see which one is calling out to you. Both bikes are very well built with refined engines. Both are capable of all-day touring. It all comes down to your personal preference and which saddle you feel comfortable in. If I had to choose, personally, I would go with the Honda for its styling. Also, there’s going be a lot more competition in this segment in the coming months. Lots of new models coming up, so you could wait for a few months before deciding. Don’t worry about making the wrong choice, any bike you choose would be great for you and you’ll create great memories with it. All the best to you. Cheers!

    My Sincere request is pls dont go with RE CLASSIC 350 unless u have a dream to own and drive RE Specially RE REBORN CLASSIC 350. I brought new Halcyon green on 4th march 2022 i have driven 900+ kms in 15 days AND 1st service completed finally feeling OK😂
    Noted things in my RE
    Disadvantages:
    1.Chain noise even after service,
    2.Digital fuel gauge issue,
    3.Big scratch at front mudgar due to brake wire,
    4.Rare disc noise due to disc design and pads,
    5.Noise at Engine might be due to FUEL INJECTOR( Not a problem but irritating sound)
    6.No Thump and no vibrations so u have to convince u r self that u r actually driving RE 😂
    7.Light side (Left) controls bit longer from handle.. short hand people feel irritated in city traffic
    8.Average mileage 35kmpl ( vary depending upon your riding style)
    Advantages:
    1.Charging port (u no need to search for charging ports during the long rides always stay charged provides Almost good charging speed)
    2.Smooth driving since no vibrations ( If u are uncomfortable with old RE bcz of lot of vibrations now u like Re reborn since vibrations are almost 0 under 80kmph)
    3.Trip Digital odo meter (Including time)
    4.Fuel gauge and Reserve fuel indicator with kms driven after reserve ( Some what good thing atleast we are getting Indicator)
    5.Abs with disc brakes will blow your mind u get confidence while braking they are at top notch ( Top Best thing in RE Reborn)
    6.Best cruise speed 80 to 90kmph
    7.Good seating comfort for Pillion than for rider ( using springs will give advantage to rider)
    8.In 3rd gear bike will move at around 20kmph speed without giving acceleration( Best thing if u just want to take of u r hand from accelerator for some reasons)
    9.Mirrors are awesome if u adjusted properly
    10. Every one will look at u if u change silencer😁( including Policemen)
    11. Less maintenance service ( from reborn servicing interval changed to every 5k kms)
    12. Parking lights ( 4 signal lights will blink usefull when u stopped u r bike a side from road)
    13. Good suspension
    14. U will get Tubeless tyres
    15. And finally as usual provides good low end torque
    If u are not a fan of RE and dont want lot of customisations and dont want silencer thump and u can afford high cost of spares and need a good 350cc consider other bikes by doing test ride and knowing available service centres and cost of spares and maintenance cost.
    Buying a thing is easy but maintaining it is hard
    Hope the comment is usefull for atleast one person
    Have a safe ride 😉😉

    Bro plz help me with this... Classic or Himalayan..?? Overall..??

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They’re both built for different purposes. However, if I had to choose one of the two, overall, I would choose the Himalayan for its versatility. The current Classic has a better, more refined engine though. But overall, the Himalayan is a more capable machine.

    I think they should want to give us a gear position indicator because we're paying minimum 2.40 lakhs onroad and for those who have just learn to drive a bike...

      All three bikes are from very different categories. To choose one of the 3, you have to first figure out what your personal need for the bike is. Do you need it for a city commute? Will you take it to the race track? Will you be doing a lot of highway riding? Or is it going to be a mix of all these? Then you need to know which of these you will do most of. Why don’t you DM us on Insta @SharanShagun and we can have a detailed discussion

    I think worst way is in servicing... And that engine rubber.... For first service also they are taking total tank... And 700 almost with just normal filter and that rubber old bullets don't have that but they are still good...

    The sound in bullet is it's identity. I watched many bikes like ktm, Harley Davidson, ninja and their exhaust sound is more annoying than bullet. But bullet's sound is like it's 'Pehchan'. Aur company ne usi pehchan isse chin liya.

    What about the stock seat. I feel it is very hard. I bought this year, and I felt it is not for long rides..

    • @SharanShagun
      @SharanShagun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not particularly hard. It’s stiff, mainly because of the suspension setup. And because of the fact that it lacks the under-seat springs it used to have. Which I feel is great because we aren’t living in the 1950s anymore 😛
      I didn’t feel any discomfort on my Mumbai-Alibaug-Mumbai ride. But if you want to do greater distances, I suggest using a gel pad or an air seat cushion. There are many in the market today for as low as ₹1000
