Just about to have my 500km service on my Chrome Red 350. Not the biggest, fastest or most complicated bike I have ever owned...but..it is the best - more smiles per miles, lots of character, timeless looks, comfy ( I am 6'1"), lovely motor and real pedigree. A lovely bike for real world riding.

Such a great bike & I see in India you can get a heel toe shifter now so hopefully turn up on ebay soon.Meteor heel toe shifter won't fit.

I’m very much hoping I have the same experience. I’ll be getting the red/chrome one as well and it’s replacing a Rebel 1100, which is a fantastic bike, but not my favorite.

Just bought three of these - me, son and friend. I've been riding since 1971, and this is probably the most fun I've had since then! I've owned and ridden a lot of bikes, but make no mistake, this one is a blast, and affordable!

    • @mindspinn311

@@scottboettcher That’s pretty great getting three at once. I wish I could convince a buddy to buy one! My friend liked riding it more than he thought he would. Many seem to agree with your sentiment. It’s my 14th bike in 15 years and probably the most fun, but I will definitely need a quicker bike to go with it in the future. Even something around 40-50hp would be enough once you’re used to 20hp. A 650cc would feel like a 1000cc by comparison.

Have fun with the 350 Classic, been really enjoying my meteor350, I've just went to passed 8,000km on my bike. I've noticed that I have a bit more power up hills now than when I first got the bike. On the flat and small hill I can cruise at 100 to 110kph all day long, also it's great for us older guys who don't want a heavy bike.

Here in the UK I just bought the Classic 350 went in today for its 300 miles first service, loaned a Himalayan and my word makes you realise just how good the Classic is !! With 52 years of riding experience I have to say my favourite bike by far, especially now the need for speed is now not what I require riding a bike now. Amazing fit and finish and just puts a smile on your face.

This bike is so much more than the specs...
Have had mine now for about 10 weeks, just hit 500 miles. DId the first service (oil/filter, valves, etc) and enjoy it more every time I ride. Got my son one too and our buddy also got one. They're all beautiful and different colors - Bronze/Chrome, Halcyon Grey, and Halcyon Green.
I've owned a lot of bikes since I started riding as a kid in 1971. Many of them spectacular, but none of them get the attention this one does! If you're shy and don't like people, don't buy one...you'll get asked about it wherever you are!
Also, I'm 6'-4". 230lbs, and it's very - surprisingly comfortable. I moved the shifter up one tooth and moved the bars back slightly - about 1/2" or so. Perfection!
Only thing that bummed me out was the early valve check/adjustment. Moreso the cost - two local dealers wanted $500US and $630US respectively. Insane, right? Found a great local shop that did it for $165 and I put in Motul 5100 15w50. Purring like a cat now!
Just ordered some parts from hitchcocks in the UK - 16 tooth front sprocket, and a new kit with an oiled air filter and more free-flowing cap. Should be here this week. I've read good things about both.
Also, in keeping with more UK bits, I got a Beeline Moto GS puck. Fantastic device! Very easy to read in day or night, and is a nice alternative to riding with a big hone strapped to your bars!
Nice video - thanks for posting. If anyone is even thinking of getting one, unless you don't understand it's limits with a smaller motor, don't hesitate. It's the most fun i've had in 50 years!!!
BTW, I just fitted the DNA filter/cap from Hitchcock's. Minimal effort, and the results are great! Sounds like a train now (I omitted the inside document carrier piece to leave it as open as possible. Runs a bit funny at first, so let it idle for about 10 minutes, followed by an easy ride to get it sorted. The EFI needs to adjust, but once it does, it feels great on the Butt Dyno™
Great vid for a great bike!
    Ride Safe 🙏🏼

@@felipedourado5721 If you can check RE Super Meteor or Himalayan 400cc. RE is planning to bring around 5-6 new bikes. In the next 2-3 years.
      It includes a 650 cruiser
      A City Bike
      A bobber
Adventure Sport that would be 400 cc Himalayan producing around 40bhp.
Some of them are in testing while others are work in progress.

It looks a lot like a Bullet. I bought my first in Karnatica in 94 from a German hippy im Hampi. He was insane but the bike had been well kept, it had Tamil Nadu plates. Had it off on an off for about 4 years, we shared it amongst a bunch of us Morjim posers who had drifted north from Anjuna and Arpora, Marvin and the Ding Dong shack fed us we lived in huts on the beach. A night, sometimes you could ships out at sea, most;y it was just the stars, the Milky Way like a massive arch of light spanning the sky, there was only one electric light about 1 mile away. Fully night . It was magic. Destroyed now, one the Jagger kids has a beachside "pad" there. A very old friend of mine, Kitan still has the bike still uses it. Magic unkillable bikes

I agree about the grips on the GT and Interceptor, they are too thin for my hands, I had to add grip puppies to mine... they feel great now! I also added the TEC adjustable levers to it, they are a game changer... I'm actually looking at the Interceptor for my next bike, I want it for a sidecar... Not sure the 350s would carry the power I want for that

My 2016 carbureted Honda Rebel 250 twin will outrun it, and cruise at 80 mph GPS on the highway all day long. There is old looks, and actual old design. The Rebel 250 is a 1985 design, based on 1970s technology, using a slightly enlarged engine that came out in the 1978 CB185 Twinstar, which itself was based on the early '70s CB350. No computers or electronics of any kind on the Rebel. It's the real deal. And it will cruise at full throttle for over 80,000 miles before it starts to show any signs of wear. Lets see that computer on wheels do that.

I wouldnt say the classic 350 is a computer on wheels mate its pretty bare bones and meant for crusing just like the rebel 250 theyre both slow bikes! The japanese tend to make bikes a bit quicker than others but i think youve missed the whole point the classic 350 is a beautiful little commuter and its lovely to ride plus it looks a whole lot nicer than a rebel 250 the problem with the rebel is itll always be a harley look alike and not its own thing like the classic theres no other bike like it on the market. My point is youre not buying either bike to go fast so why even bring that up theyre both cool machines just enjoy them for what they are. I had a 2003 carby Honda VTR 250 that would eat both the rebel and the classic 350 for breakfast but then again different bikes and theyre all cool in their own way!

@@roadblastmedia I call the RE a computer on wheels (which also applies to pretty much all modern bikes, including Harleys) because of the EFI, ABS, and digital dash. Those all require computers, and a lot of sensors. It's an electronic nightmare. I own 7 bikes total. 5 motorcycles, and 2 Vespa scooters. All are carbureted, have normal brakes, and no digital instruments. Besides the scooters, the Rebel just happens to be the smallest of the bunch. I also have a Royal Enfield, a 2013 B5 Bullet. I bought it new. It came with EFI, but not ABS. I immediately replaced the EFI with an Amal MK1 Concentric carburetor using a kit from Hitchcocks in the UK. I also replaced the huge, heavy, cat con exhaust with a smaller non cat con exhaust from Hitchcocks. That made it run and sound like a proper long stroke British single. I don't have any tolerance for computers on motorcycles. I also get no enjoyment from smooth quiet motorcycles. Before the kit came in, I did try to ride it with the EFI, and it barely ran. It felt weak, it stumbled and hesitated. The carb and exhaust changed it completely. It pulled hard with no hesitation. It felt and sounded like it should. It is a joy to ride, and I have put almost 22,000 miles on it during the past 9 years. I would never have bought it if I had not known about the carb kit to begin with. I had planned to convert it before I even bought it. As nice as it is to ride however, it is still not fast. I ride it around 55-60 mph. Much above that and it sounds and feels like it will fly apart. Even being a 500, the little Rebel will outrun it. But speed is not what riding a motorcycle is all about for me. It's the experience. The sound and feel. I started out in 1975 at age 16 on Japanese bikes. Then in the mid '80s I acquired a 1966 Triumph Bonneville. That changed my whole perspective. I found that motorcycles do not have to be smooth, quiet, and boring. I have owned several vintage British bikes and Harleys since then. All carbureted. At 63, I have enough carbureted non ABS bikes to last the rest of my life. I would try a 2016 or earlier Bullet or Classic 500 with a carburetor. The difference between that and the 350 Classic is night and day. They even put a balancer in the 350, which the 500 doesn't have, allowing it to feel like a motorcycle should.

Filming a comparison video right now bro! But for now ill say the 500 is more fun but the 350 is alot more practical for every day riding and it is much smoother if i was to only own one i would probably be the 350 as it is much more friendly and nicer to ride
