My deep respect to Stryper, a band that has the guts to make songs and talk openly about God, still working after all this years and having to put up with all the garbage and negative criticism of the music business.
I don't care what you're into or not in to; Christian, non-Christian....whatever. These guys ROCK!! Some of the best melodies ever written; not to mention amazing talent. "The Rock That Makes Me Roll" is one of the 10 best hard rock songs of all time.

These guys are truly beyond amazing to be doing what thy have been doing for 30 years and sounding jut as good now as they did when they first started. The are without a doubt blessed by the Lord's hand. God Bless Stryper.

Sorry but Petra isn't anywhere close to Stryper in terms of success. You may like Petra more, that is your opinion, but in terms of success you are way off base.

I love Stryper.They are a Glam Metal chrisstian band and i am a christian glam metal man forever.

David Lee,I'm not a christian but I am a musician and I know talented songwriters, singers and guitarists and these guys are as good as it gets.These guys knew how to write a good melody and also had one of the most amazing live sounds of any band I have ever heard.They are always energetic and put out 100%.Who gives a shit whether you are so one eyed that you can't see past their message and appreciate the music for what it is.That is pathetic!
Have you had a life where you have been able to do what you love to do and make a good living out of it, seeing the world and enrichening people's lives? I fucking doubt it from your outlook.
So yea they really are losers aren't they, achieving their goals and dreams and making a shitload of money out of it along the way.
You should convert to being a Christian if you like their music. Darwin doesn't have musicians like this.

There are a lot of reasons why Stryper is one of my favorites - aside from their unshakable Christian foundation and message - is one of their musical uniquenesses...the "dualing guitars" of Michael and Oz on nearly every song. Outstanding songs performed at a high level of musicianship. Great stuff.
These guys always had an awesome sound besides being fabulous musicians. I remember seeing them at the Ritz in NYC 20 years ago,, they rocked the house. Looks like they still do today :-)

I went to Bible study with these guys.....sooooooo genuine and true. I saw their 3rd concert ever....I was 20 when they hit big.....now at alm ost 49.....still loving them.
I saw the whole video dreaming it was in Venezuela. I hope the Lord give us the opportunity to have them here and praise the Lord together. God bless you guys. I really enjoyed it.

I saw them on the I.G.W.T. tour in the late 80's. One of the best sounding bands live. It's good to see Tim back in the lineup.
Same in Canberra Australia 1988 totally awesome. Best live act I've ever seen. Metallica live was the worst. ISIAH 53.5.
I was 7 in 1986 when I first saw them on the dove awards. Been a fan ever since. I remember I use to tie a tennis racket around me as a guitar and rock the house to soldiers under command at age 7,8, and 9, They are the ones that inspired me to actually learn to play guitar at age 12. Thanks guys !

Oz Fox's solo in More Than A Man is one of my all time favourites for a guitar solo in a song...the pace and the attack, the melodies, just matches the song so perfectly...Bravo!!!

This will probably sound cheesy as fuck, but i don't care. About a year ago, i had a complete mental breakdown. Completely lost my shit, had to quit work, i was suicidal, and so on. I rediscovered these guys on here and found them extremely uplifting, not only with their kickass musicianship, but also their spoken words. I'm not religious either, i don't believe in their God. But ANYTHING that can help someone like myself get through something like that is valid. Rock on, Stryper.

I have been listening to STRYPER since 1982 and have to say I still fucking thrash out any time I hear them. I've seeing them 4 times...
For those who were complaining that they don't sound as good as they did back in `86-88, please realize that it was almost 27 years ago. Vocal muscles wear out as we age. People who sang Soprano at age 25, may sound tenor or high baritone at 45-50. Given that they are in their mid-late 40's, they are doing good. IJS
Music is what made me a believer in God. Not these guys but the Daniel band. I do love the spirit of this band and their hard rock.
