Everyone the sidemen are huge in the UK but not as huge in the states. Beside ksi and even Vikk everyone else doesn’t have a big US audience. They’ve mentioned themselves before that if they had a big US audience along with their big UK audience they’d be three times bigger than they already are. So many Sidemen fans overestimate the fame of all Sidemen. I'm a Sidemen viewer since the beginning and these new fans are just weird.
Lots of Zerkaa Twitch viewers were incredibly confused when TheGeekEntry (who plays Stacey) didn't know Zerkaa or the Sidemen. Even accused her of pretending to not know him and were offended when she didn't know KSI. I personally don't follow K-pop music, heard about BTS, but I wouldn't know a single name of a single BTS member. While they have even more fans than the SIdemen around the world. Their popularity is insane, but I don't know them. I'm sure that there are other K-pop groups that are also incredibly famous, but I never heard of them.
Some fans are so delusional stuck in their own bubble. There are billions of people on this world. Sidemen get 10 million views a week on TH-cam. Plenty of the world that doesn't know any of them. They aren't that big in the US, or Canada. 50% of their viewers are from the UK and the rest are bits and pieces from over the world. They got a bit more US fame through the Logan Paul and Jake Paul beef, but that's also limited to the Logan Paul and Jake Paul audience. It's not like KSI is as famous as Barack Obama or that Zerkaa is as famous as Leonardo di Caprio.
But these new Sidemen stans act like everyone should know them. It's embarrassing. It's like if a K-pop stan would be angry at you for not knowing any of that group's members.
