I just realized. Did they not finish the eyes on the puppet, or they looked like shit and so they just made some paper sunglasses at the last minute lmao?
I don’t know, but whatever the reason, they made the right choice.
Maybe that’s just the design and I think it looks okay and makes it funnier
It adds to the design no matter what it is
It was probably intentional for comedic effect
It looks like the puppet is based on either Zach's or Chris design. He just drew the character with glasses, that's how stylized glasses look like sometimes, just white circles with lines on them
I chose to believe that Zach has never read or even made a script in his entire life and that every single character he plays is completely riffed on the spot
And in most cases, that character is probably just him.

Smiling Friends doesn't have a script either. The voice actors just show up to an empty studio with Zach sitting in the dark on a cheap plastic chair, jelqing to pictures of rotten, nasty feet with pulsating tumors all over them. From there they just kinda wing and try to avoid eye contact with Mr Hadel.

He just recently guest hosted a stream on Adult Swim with Michael Cusack and they talked on camera. It's the stream where people pitch show ideas and they critique them. Can't think of the name.

@@joshawottva Zach really is like the internet's Norm McDonald. Thats a really good comparison actually. If you really think about it, they have a similar style. Not so much Norm's stand up but More so his riffing style.

This is just Zach with a bloated alien body. I saw him in a Smash tournament, and he spoke and acted just like this. When he lost, he'd shake the opponent's head until grey matter leaked from their nose. Other than that, great guy and great gamer.
The second this video started I knew that at some point Zach was going to shoehorn an Oj Simpson reference. I was not disappointed.
I've known people like this. People who make outrageous unbelievable lies who somehow think anyone will buy into them. Zach isn't even playing a character here, he's just accurately depicting what those people are like.
