The story of A24 is amazing. I love their films. They are reviving cinema in a way. More like them are needed. A good case study of how local films can be put on the map is Danish cinema, for example the 2022 film "Speak No Evil". It got so much attention outside of Denmark and Holland that there is an American remake with the same name starring James McAvoy. In fact, it was surprising to know that one is NOT by A24, the American remake.
@@Cinorafilms I very strongly recommend watching the original. It is an extremely uneasy watch but it is a stellar piece of filmmaking. The American version is different especially in the last act, which is where the original is way darker but yeah, it totally could have been made by someone like A24.

I had no idea Speak No Evil was a remake! I’ll have to look up the original.
