Wow, the suspension movement during the slow motion shots is really composed. You can tell alot about a bike by watching the slow mo stuff. I'm currently racing enduros on an 09 125, awesome everywhere but technical hill climbs (I'm 6'2' and 205 lbs tho). .
KTM is probably the only company that takes time and effort to make their 2 strokes better every year. Not just slaping the same shit together each year.
@LazyWaffleman because when riding an 85 2 stroke some riders cant get the feel of a 4 stroke strait away. so they get a 125 with the same power because they are used to a 2 stroke and dont need to adapt to a different engine style.
You'll be fine my first bike was a fully modded cr125 first dirtbike i ever road and I was 5'6 at the time and I could flat foot both legs. Everybody is different, everyone said I'd blow that bike and be fowling plugs like crazy but I never did once
Any reason to get this over a 250f I rode a 125SX for many years I want to get a new bike soon, pretty keen on a Crf250r though? Is the KTM 250f better? I use the bike for both trails and track?
like he said in video, 125s are good bikes to go to before you are ready for a 250f. if you can ride a 125 fast, you can ride anything. Any 125 is good, you can get older ones for a fairly good price on Craigslist.

It really depends on wether you can handle the weight and power of the bike. At the moment, I am 15 and 5'9 at 135 pounds and my four stroke KLX140 is VERY small for me. I've been looking at 125s for a while now. I sat on a 2013 yz125 and I could barely keep both of my feet flat on the ground so you would probably have to stop with one leg. I've ridden my dad's KTM 525XC which would be difficult for me to maneuver in trails and I have a really tough time picking the bike up when I lay it down. If I where you, I would defiantly consider a two stroke 125 or a four stroke 250 if you think you are strong enough and have enough experience to drive it.
i am 5 foot 6 inch and and weight 115 and ride a 150rb and have had that for about a year look for something with a little more braap to it. Would this be a good bike.
***** definitely not the case. I am 5'5 and I tip toe on both sides, which is what its supposed to be. I just got a yz 125 and its a sweet bike, and your the correct sixe for it. just saying
