That was a really nice display home with nice furnishings. I still struggle with the thought of living in one of those estates as I would probably come home after a night on the piss & end up in someone else's house as they all look the same 555. Cheers
I love how the kitchen looks amazing...but no oven, stove top or even a microwave. Whoever sits in that dining room would be waiting for orders from a delivery rider!
Now that is a nice house. I would probably configure things a little differently and use less gaudy light fixtures. But it looks like a good value. Those houses really are right on top of each other though
Awesomeness. Very Impressive. I like those Houses. Seem likes Great Value 👍. and you are very entertaining aswell . Great job 👏 I really enjoy your channel. Hope you do more . Cheers mate from John in Vancouver. Canada
Nice house I see people complain regarding furnishing and its style. I have been homes up here over 10 million one a lady bank manger and thats the style furnishing the same with another couple the house maybe 30 million with similar bling furniture. Its the style some rich Thais like not me I am more like you love my teak. I am enjoying your new content James and always look forward to your uploads.
The difference is that the furniture they have is likely to be high quality, so the workmanship and materials will be top quality. Everything in that house is cheap and it looks it.
Thank you James, enjoyed that house tour, very nice ! Think the basic version with larger windows and higher ceilings would be my choice. Its been a while since I’ve been on TH-cam, good to see you looking so well 👍. Cheers, Victor
It was a decent project and the house spec looked excellent. Probably needs a hob and other things in the kitchen. Those photos in the master were of the Cotswolds i think.
Thanks for the break from your dusting 😅 Kidding aside that was a lovely home wasn't it? Like you I would opt for the basic & set the kitchen up right. But other than that yes very nice fit & finish! The only downside ultimately for me is Lopburi = Planet of the apes 😉 Hopefully some day Lopburi can figure out a way to control the wild monkee population if there is still time. Thanks for the great tour of that nice home!
The REAL questions to ask first: How much insulation is in the walls and under the roof ? What has been done to avoid damage from flooding ? Is there enough water pressure? How much electricity can I produce myself with the PV modules? 😅 Builders are always amazed by these questions!
On your own build yes, not so much on projects. Water pressure is usually good and more projects are incorporating solar which I might cover in the future.👍
Hi mate Am interested about when you said “you lost it and lost interest in Thailand in the hot season”. Can you elaborate on this a bit more please. I’ll noticed that a lot of expats do experience a lot of mental heath issues and depression when they stay in Thailand. Am not saying this is you but am interested to know about your experiences on this issue. I do think the main course of this is having too much time on your hands and finding structure in there life’s. As you said you had to get out and do something. Chin up and look forward to your next video 🙏
Tbh.. the lack of insulation and general quality is annoying.. don't get fooled by the furniture.. the place will need Aircon 24/7 etc.. it's about time Thailand moved forward 😊
Too many windows! And too big (long). They will forever be covered for privacy and shading reasons, making them redundant as a style feature and seeing out of. My pet hate. Stylish ironing board in the bedroom though.......
And when you put it in her name…. It’s now her future families house 😂😂😂 NEVER EVER BUY A HOUAE AND PUT IT IN HER NAME. She will dump you and then you will have a house with her name on it 😂
I did, no issue, family house now in daughter's name. You obviously only know a certain type of Thai woman. what happens when u marry in the west, buy something 10 times more expensive then divorce? Over 50% end in divorce. You lose way more.
No one in the Gate house … Then its not secure, Front sliding door is flimsy and very easy to force open, Garden space is just ridiculous you get nothing, This is miles from the coast you need a car to get everywhere, Its overpriced. Sorry but i have seen much better for the money with Pools, Thumbs down 👎 And remember as a foreigner you can’t buy it ,
It's a show house plots are bigger. Door is solid with key pad entry system. For guys looking in the area with their missus who might have family in the area. Not everyone wants a pool villa in Pattaya. 👍🍺
@@jamesabroad8589 Door is flimsy im a builder and we would never fit ever all you have to do is force a screwdriver into the rail and derail the roller the door will drop away,, The keypad entry is easy to bypass there’s a small hole under the bottom of the keypad , If you push a piece of wire into it you reset the keypad back to factory settings… Takes 4 seconds. Quite a fixation with the door and security. As I said there is life outside Pattaya and pool villas. I don't need to fool anyone, just showing what's on offer.
@@jamesabroad8589 Pointing out flaws is not a fixation… Those properties are out in the country , where safety should be a concern. Especially an unguarded gated community thats got an empty gatehouse.

Superb! It would be good to see houses in Saraburi, as it's about an hour from BKK, has 2 international schools and 1 international uni.
Cheers, yes I'll see what I can do. 👍🍺
Love the design of the kitchen. Would also chose the basic model with a few changes including adding the larger windows.
Yes, agree mate. I personally love the larger windows.👍😁

Every inch of space used...
Yes agree, it is a big project, but pretty well laid out.👍🍺
Thanks!
Cheers Gene. Will go into the hotel room kitty. Appreciate it mate.👍🍺

Good video. Nice house. typical English house just need the Eastenders theme tune playing in the background and ta daar you've got it. 😁
Cheers mate, yes, or a bit of coronation street. Just need a TV lol. 😁👍🍺
Very impressive. But foreigners can’t buy that’s a big problem.
There are ways, but most here looking with their Thai partners.👍🍺
A foreigner can buy it, but they do need to have the money.

Yes, looked like that area of the UK. Certainly need to squeeze in a cooker lol. 👍🍺
thanks for sharing the properties, interesting investment ideas. when are you going to demonstrate some of your guitar playing?
Haven't played for ages. Even forgotten how to play wonderwall. Lol.👍🍺
Lovely looking house, unfortunately my house in Somerset looks nothing like it :)
Haha, I've seen similar places on my travels but not like my mum's cottage lol👍🍺
Nice house
Nice one james
Cheers mate.🍺👍
Crikey Mate, Thought I was back in Jolly good Ole England there!!! ^^
Ha Ha yes, was expecting Chas and Dave to show up lol
are you on acid?
😂
not much cooking going to be done in the 'kitchen' but some very nice design features, how close to the hoards of monkeys in Lopburi?
I think kitchen can be functional. Not sure mate, wasn't even aware of the monkeys lol. 👍🍺

York Minster.
The ‘modern English’, if I’m looking at this house, must only survive on take out dinners. The kitchen is missing the modern devices to prepare food.
With a decent hob and fan, I think its certainly a decent place to cook.👍
Nice house. Nice kitchen, but where is the stove/oven? Given the size of the kitchen, I'd say these have to be built-in.
Yes, missing on the show house. Would obviously have one slotted in somewhere.👍🍺
Lovely property. Like you say nice to see a change in design galley kitchen would not suit the thais I don't think.back home safe hope your well
Cheers mate yes, don't often see that style here. Hope you had a nice trip. 👍🍺
Would the neighbours be fans of Iron Maiden do you think?? 😊
I would be if I lived next door.
I'm sure they'd be partial to a bit of the trooper.😁👍🍺
well i like phisanulokk best

Just a mixture of a particularly bad hot season with awful AQI. It is easy to go off the rails here. 😎👍🍺
That great kitchen has no stove???😂
Do they prove multiple entry visa also😊
Can always ask lol.👍🍺
🕴❤❤
No ovens stoves ?
There's one in the next video.👍🍺😎
Just missing all the doors. Odd decision for the developer to make for the showhome.
Yes hopefully they'll go on when they eventually sell it lol.👍🍺
comparing a BEKO refrigerator to a Sub-Zero. 😃😃😃😃
Had minus on it and sounds impressive.😎👍😁
I've seen a few nicer houses with decent size kitchens being built in my area. And where do they cook? Out back under some sort of a lean to.
In the kitchen. Once cooker is installed don't see why not.👍🍺
Where in Thailand?
Said at beginning of video. Lopburi.
@@jamesabroad8589 thanks
Usual chintzy decor you find in display homes. Those two bits of marble on the table, preventing any conversation, are genius.
ขอโทษนะครับดูมาหลายคลิปแล้ว ภรรยาคุณอยู่ไหนครับ
Still under the house.👍🍺
she never appears
Been in 3 videos. 😎
English 🏴 style
your right it is very English small and pokey rooms that don't suite the climate and need heaps of aircon to be comfortable
If they're 'small n pokey rooms' you won't need much Aircon.
@@jamesabroad8589 yes you will small and pokey is hot open plan is cooler
It is open plan, but anyway.
Argh... "just need some scones" ..... That is just way too brit!!!! And would you want that in Thailand?? lol :D
Absolutely.😂😎
It's just at the wrong place 🙂
Dinning living room is rather small.
And no TV.
It's not a big house and they did squeeze in quite a lot. Sure could get a TV in there.👍🍺
No tv 😭

No real ownership for ferangs..
Same in the UK really, depends on your perspective. Usually in the bank or half with the ex wife lol.👍🍺
No daily mincing?😂
Will be some in the next video.😎👍😁
No security at all
Digital entry system which I forgot to mention and plenty of monkeys apparently.👍
Tbh.. the lack of insulation and general quality is annoying.. don't get fooled by the furniture.. the place will need Aircon 24/7 etc.. it's about time Thailand moved forward 😊
Even with insulation air con will be needed. Can always be discussed with the developer.👍🍺
Never seen a house in England like that. No draws in the kitchen, done on the cheap side
Didn't take long lol.
I'm sure they'd throw you free delivery of Fish n' Chips for a Year until you get organised
Would be nice.😎👍🍺

I like big tall windows. Don't mind the extra air con bill. 👍🍺

For £100000 you can buy just one bedroom unfinished flat outside London or suburbs in UK.
