- This video covers the installation of our hybrid step/rock sliders for the 2022+ Toyota Tundra. These fit the Crew Max cab Tundras with or without the Hybrid engine. These are also a direct bolt on installation.
Check out our sliders on our website backwoodsadven...
Great showcase of this rock slider. I've been in the market for this and love how you showed this. Thinking about getting it. Great production - even bloopers! 😂😂
Appreciate it!
Awesome. Thank you for this. Well put video
I will be using this to help me install mine.
@ Glad to help!
On your website it states the rock sliders are for the short bed. by short bed you guys mean the 5'5 extra short bed correct? because I think Toyota sometimes refers to the 6.5' as the short bed.
Yes, apologies. The site has been updated.
How wide is the step area? Seems fairly large and good size for daily use as step as well
It's pretty big. Take up most of your foot. About 6-8" deep
On your website it has option for crewmax but shortbed. I have the 6.5 bed. Does it matter?
Yes, only the Crewmax shortbed fit. The bigger bed mounts differently
@@BackwoodsAdventureMods soooooo then are CrewMax/6.5' bed owners left to look elsewhere or...?
@ Unfortunately at this time we're focusing on the shorter bed lengths. Thanks!
DO NOT BUY THIS ROCKSLIDER!!!! There is a major manufacturing defect on my slider on the passenger side. The holes do not align (likely the front one) and is off by about 3/8 of an inch. I had to enlarge it to make it fit. but after install I realize that hole is complete out of position and the slider is tilted up and pressing right into the body panel. Now the paint on my brand new 70K Tundra is damaged. Wasted 2 days of my time trying to get this thing installed and worst part is now my new truck is damaged. I'm so pissed off now.
Hey man! First off, we want to thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's stuff like this that makes us better, and unfortunately, sometimes we make mistakes. As we discussed through email, we're working on a brand new replacement with the revisions free of charge and are working towards doing everything we can to make it right. We want to thank you for your business and again, for bringing this to our attention. They installed perfectly on our shop Tundra, so something goofy must have happened in production. Hope you have an amazing day, and we appreciate your patience.
