Oh My Goodness! I will make a lap blanket for my husband for our 35th Anniversary. He has Parkinson's and this would make him so happy to have to keep him warm and give a hug when I'm not there.
I’m a July Baby and I’ve always had ruby for my birthstone. My daughter was born in June as a pearl or alexandrite. I always wanted to know how basix is different from dollar tree premier yarn worsted. The colors are named mostly the same. The Ophir hook is just the right size for me. A birthstone blanket would be wonderful for my grandkids. I have 3 baby girls ranging from 6 years old to 20. Two of them were born in October and the baby was born in November. I might use their favorite colors because red, blue and yellow.
I love your color choices for the giveaway. The idea is awesome. I'm now inspired to make a blanket of all my loved ones that have passed using their birthstones.
Very pretty colors. There is nothing better than being a grandma I will mos likely make a blanket for my daughter using her grandkids birthstone colors. Love this idea.
The way you have the yarn and hooks look too pretty to use.😊 This is an awesome giveaway and the hook is beautiful. I haven't thought of doing a birthstone blanket, but I think it is a cool idea. I have five children and eleven grandchildren plus three step. Eventide I work on it and then use it would remind me of them.
I love the birthstone theme! I would love to make a blanket using the colors of my two sons and 3 grandchildren with each side with my late parents and in-laws! You have inspired me to come up with a few color combos. All of this yarn is beautiful as well as the hook. Thank you for this giveaway! Looking forward to the CAL 😊
Despite crocheting for over 20 years, I have never made a granny square! I have been wanting to make a granny square blanket lately, and I think it would be fun to see all of these colors mixed around in the blanket!
Such beautiful yarns ❤ I appreciate the opportunity 😊 I love the idea of making a blanket with correlating birthstones of loved ones😌 thank you for doing a giveaway as always!
I would make a project with the birthstones of my children and grandchildren. I think a wrap would be very nice. What a great idea.❤ good luck to everyone
I think I will be making a blanket to gift it during Christmas. Your idea of the wrap with the birthstone colors is great, maybe I make something with that theme too.
I would make some donations to Boggy Creek Camp with the yarn. I have made a lot of blankets already, but this yarn would help me make more blankets. The crochet hook is pretty too.
Hi Denise, great idea to use the birthstone colors! I would make a blanket with the colors for all my loved ones. ❤️Take care and thank you for the chance!❤️🧶🌻
I love the theme you are doing. I think I would do a family theme, my great grandma, grandma and grandpa and mom all of whom are no longer here with us. Have a great weekend.
I love your theme so much I want to copy it!😂 I’ll probably do multiple birthstone blankets since it’s a long term thing: one for my hubby and one for my fur baby so she can stop stealing mine😆 I am definitely looking forward to the seeing the stitches you pick!❤
What a fun idea. You were a little off in your stones/months though, June is pearl/moonstone and July is Ruby. I might make a wrap with my grandchildren's birthstone colors. My birthday is in June, that's how I know the birthstone.
Hi sweet Denise, this is an amazing idea. Birthstone blanket of all my loved ones would be cool. I would make 2 one for me and one too donate. As I love gifting to others
I love your theme so much I want to copy it!😂 I’ll probably do multiple birthstone blankets since it’s a long term thing: one for my hubby and one for my fur baby so she can stop stealing mine😆 if I have time I may do one for my Mother-in-law since she recently retired and her birthday is in September like mine. I am definitely looking forward to the seeing the stitches you pick cause I love learning new ones!❤
I shot over to get the purple hook Lucia and bowl for my step 👧 daughter’s birthday but they were out, even though they said they weren’t yet. They wanted me to buy just the bowl of course, and I put it on the contact me when they get the hook but guess that’s not going to happen in the near future or maybe at all. She was crushed, after picking those out. She bitterly complained and stopped crocheting calling them a Privy or Outhouse. Purple and Pink are favorites but if they don’t produce enough of them… was her complaint. She went back to knitting only.
@@WhiteBirdMustFly2 I honestly don’t know why they have the contact me if they aren’t bringing it back. Either you are or aren’t lol choose a lane. I am sad that you couldn’t get them both 😔. Most of the time companies will do a limited edition or limited time only so that you jump on it right away and get it …sort of the fear of missing out thing. Maybe by putting the email contact me thing there, if they get enough requests maybe they’ll bring it back, I don’t know.
After losing 4 friends to different types of cancer, and just finding out 2 more friends have been diagnosed with this dreaded disease, I'd use the yarns to make colorful Prayer Shawls for them: and using the rest to make shawls to donate for patients of a cancer treatment center in the area.
I would make a project with the birthstones of my children and grandchildren. I think a wrap would be very nice. What a great idea.❤ good luck to everyone
