What's funny is I came by this archetype completely randomly. I took one deck apart for mats to build my take on Virtual World ( 6th deck I've built but the 3rd I have currently fully built). From some practicing I've done this is a very interesting archetype. Though for my hand traps I only have 2 ashs and two psy drives. Droll I forgot about but imma see about it when I can 🙏🏾. Appreciate this man!

I’ve been adjusting my decks list to be more like yours. I added utopia beyond to my sideboard but I just figured out that crystal wing synchron can out the blue eyes chaos max also because of his ability to gain attack.

This was very helpful to trim down my VW deck, I had something kind of similar but it felt a little too bloated and my extra deck was not quite so optimized.

VFD is actually also banned in the OCG, it's only live in Master Duel for some reason. That's why i'm hesitant on crafting it, because if it's been banned in both physical format, I wonder for how long it will remain legal in Master Duel.
I wanted ask what do u recommend crafting or opening the secret pack?i have spend 3k crystal..I have 6k left.Am f2p so should i keep opeing them or try crafting?I will have to play solo mode to get them materials though.
I'm a new player who's trying to pick up virtual world and was really impressed with the gameplay shown and the discussion behind it! One question I have is why is M7 so important? The list I netdecked wasn't running it and I've played a bunch of games and never really felt like I've needed it.
Its usually when you dump a virtual world name that you have not used yet, you can recur it with m7 to be able to extend. At that point if they can't out it you can go into zeus
M7 can get you any name in grave you need and also you can add back handtraps like max c or ash blossom from grave to your hand. Also you can bounce any of your opponents monsters.
hey idk if you already thought about this but it would be greatly appreciated if you could also name alternatives/replacements for the UR cards, i for example dont have enough currency to craft two copies of upstart goblin hence im kinda stuck with the deck ( got everything else but 1x ash, 1x impermanence and the aforementioned 2x upstart goblins) , anyway i really enjoyed the video and thank you for the decklist!
I'm a returning player and this video is PERFECT. I love Virtual World and this video helped me so much. I have a question, you used VFD+Chuche is game? How so?
Because you activate VFD at the beginning of your opponents turn and usually if they have imperm or chalice they can negate vfd but if you have chuche you can pop vfd before it gets negated and you skip your opponents turn and win the following turn :)
I loved the video and your explanations! Every card here was new for me, but I didn't understand how Zeus got there from the Utopia 🤣 My current strategy is going for Calamities from Cloudcastle and Shenshen and it is working fairly well, but I would like to try Zeus and M7 since they look good too
haha so you can overlay the Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger in top of any rank rank 6/7 xyz and zeus can be put in top of any xyz as long as an xyz battled that turn! Glad you liked it :)
So you don't play any called by or crossout in the maxx c format? Interesting. How do you respond to a turn 1 maxx c going first? Lets say with a mediocre hand. I guess droll helps but it kills lulu effect/qinglong etc. EDIT: I do have to say that I really like the zeus package. I was playing the crystalwing package and yeah it didnt do anything most of the time. Utopia into Zeus has won me like 5 games already. Very nice.
This deck has issues with bricking. I rather play consistency cards. I will take a maxx c challenge if it means i get to make true king - I will win even if they have 20 cards. Glad you like the zeus! He is clutch :)

Getting totem bird to protect utopia and zeus and comboing them together is actually insane. And no one expects a utopia in VW anyway. That's why I netdeck and don't craft my own lists tbh. Great stuff. EDIT: I did add some backrow hate though because eldlich everywhere.

@@lil_saucey410 I'm at Plat 4 now. I've found with this deck it doesn't really help to memorize specific combo lines. While the outcome of each combo is basically the same (VFD and ShenShen mostly) the way you do it is different each and every time which is super cool. Such a fun deck.

Got any budget substitutes for a couple of the ultras till we can afford em all? I'm missing 1 imperm, M7, Shenshen, Jiujiu, and Zeus. Are they needed or can I sub something in and make it work till I can craft them?
You could run 3 chalice. You could run vermillion mech for another synchro 9 and you could run jaja the rank 3 vw monsters just as place holders. You cpuld run a 3rd droll also (lowkey best card right now)

Brand new to the game (haven't played since the show first came out years ago), after some searching I'm looking into making a VW deck as my first real deck so the timing of your video couldn't have been better! I want to be real careful where my gems go since after these initial free gems the drop-off in free currency is huge.
I think vw is the safest bet. Even if vfd gets banned in the future (which i think he will) - you can always play a top tier deck by adding tzolking and crystal wing.
You can! I would suggest changing ravenous crocodragon archethys for vermillion dragon mech since you can't draw the same turn you activate prosperity! :)
Youre way too fast for someone whos a beginner at virtual world. Imagine yourself watching the video as you start the combos with bare knowledge about the cards. Kinda useless if you dont reduce speed tbh

You should use the Crocodile, since it can draw a card or two.

The game itself will tell you the first time you can activate it. Just wait until it asks you to activate it :)
