1998 is my fave Eurovision ever followed by 1995 and 1996! You won't believe how excited I am for Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool because it's only 90 minutes from me in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Are you both going guys? I'm not spending hundreds on a ticket so I'll be in Euro Village for the final at the side of the Mersey and then a train back to Barnsley the day after! ❤️

This year was quite good, I was only 8 years old back then and didn't get into Eurovision Untill 2000, but I've watched it online, and I really like that year. My favorites are Sweden, UK(always thought it reminded me a bit of Toni Braxton), Israel, Croatia, Norway, France and Switzerland.
I think this is the second year of the Barbara Dex award as Guido Horn won it for Germany. I agree completely about Hemel en Arade being one of the best songs the Netherlands has ever sent. Edsilla and Imanni got on like a house on fire and Edsilla named her daughter after Imanni. Imanni is indeed gorgeous as is Dana both of them look amazing.
Croatian commentator said for Dana that she went to hospital as a man and woke up as a woman. But no media mentioned that she was a tran after Eurovision. Croatia had great songs in 1998/99 with,4th place but after that everything was very bad.
