- Yes it took a while but here is the update video on the twins! If you're new to my channel, Hi and welcome! Last year I've posted some video of 8 years ago when these beautiful (rare) twins where born. Ever since people have been asking if I could do an update video on the Burgers Zoo family. So here they are!

I swear, we love the same gorillas, how?! I get so upset when people copy content, it's so awful on Facebook. People think N'Gayla is pregnant every day! It's so great to come watch how big N'Hasa and N'Kato are now. They're all gorgeous. They're 11 years old now. Time flies.
I love this troop. I also love that N’Hasa could have really hurt the mangabey if they wanted but they just sat & let the mangabey “attack”. Shows how gentle gorillas really are vs the perception of them being scary beasts.

That’s one thing I didn’t like about the older movie Planet of the Apes! They showed the gorillas as being dumb and so violent and aggressive!

♥️ I always thought the mangabeys were the ones aggravating the gorillas, but clearly N’Hasa started that little tussle.🤣 What a beautiful family! 🥰
It's 50/50 xD. But the Gorilla's also definitely start sometimes just like N'Hasa and Nakouh xD.

They are beautiful! Honestly when they were 1 or 2 months old I would not think that one of them survives. I cannot remember who was a bit weaker perhaps N'Hasa. And what a delightful girl she is!!!!! And of course N'Kato is a smart boy!!!!
It was the boy N'Kato who was the frail one. N'Hasa has always been bigger than her twin brother although that will not last forever 😉 .

Thanks for watching! He did indeed, we're so sad he's leaving with his sons. It would have happend last year but because of corona it has been postponed, we don't know when, but they're going. though he made a wonderful family and represented his genes very well.
@@LiekesShotOfLife I am hoping EEP has a second thought and cancel the plan considering the current political climate and how China conceals information. Most likely we won't be able to get any credible info on them once they are moved.

They were all enjoying such a peaceful time together ❤ The random mangabey interactions were interesting. I imagine the Mangabey's bite would hurt a bit but everyone stayed cool and calm. I think the cheeky little Mangabeys like to ruffhouse play .🥴 Aren't gorillas just wonderful!!
They're in the same enclosure for many years, it's a rough play and I don't think it really hurts the gorilla's because they would react different. Like Mebby said in the comments, they could hurt the mangabeys but they don't, they just play rough ;)
I am sure both the gorillas and Mangabeys enjoy being together. I have always enjoyed watching them playing together ❤ ☺

and that does a heart good.
I love their enclosure. Roomy with grass and trees. So many other places around the world have them in concrete boxes. I 😂understand their indoor/nighttime enclosures being like that because they have to be easy to clean each day but they have to have an outdoor area like this for, not just enrichment but for their physical and mental well being. Propels to this zoo!

Bauwi is looks smaller than his brothers Haoko and Shabani, but he's older. All the little ones are grown. There were sooo many of them.
Haoko is huge weighs 508lbs.
Bauwi actually weighs more than Shabani

How do you pronounce the names like N'kato? Is it "En-kato" " Nikato" or "Inkato". Thanks Lieke.
I've just posted a story on my TH-cam channel where I say they're names. Hopefully thats helpfull ;). But you don't say an "e" or 'i" in front or after the N.
