I liked that Robert showed signs of Lex's ego when he believed he would be able to get out his deal with Mephisto. Ego was Lex's biggest weakness in his history at DC comics.
I was wondering why he didn't just join the 4F on their space trip and get powers, he won't die because of the magic protection? Free pass to getting powers and he never thought of it.
