I am telling you guys, you just make me smile, true teammates, ego-free, having fun, just playing the game. I am a US Veteran and it just reminds me of how in the military no matter if I was with Aussies or British or Canadians we all just got along because we all got it, we're here to watch each others back and that is what it is like whenever I watch any of the Wrexham team get interviewed.
@@ricksterk7014 Why’s that? Are you a Carlisle fan? Simmo certainly helped us stay up but if it wasn’t for Mark we would’ve been down before Simmo even came in.
No mention of Rob Lainton, who btw was our player of the season a few years ago, and I was one of those who voted for him. He is a top class goalie and was unlucky to get injured so often - unbelievably 3 times at Bromley
Couldn't agree more I stopped playing football about 8 years ago and I still find my slef looking at the latest gloves and looking at what keepers are wearing what
Mark played nearly every game last season and kept us in the fa Cup he contributed to winning the league last year more than what he got credit for great keeper played superb last night aswell 👏
When they're talking about Goalkeepers sitting on the bench for years and being professional etc. It makes me think of Gulasci at Liverpool... Szoboszlai spoke about Gulasci in his decision to join Liverpool... some keepers are just build different
It literally does not make sense releasing your best player of the year when you do be building a stronger squad around them type of players. Some call it cut-throat, I call it idiocy and ignorance from decision makers.
go support you local team (not the sounders) with the same passion. fight against franchising and fight for a real league setup, you kids will be able to enjoy the beautiful game like we do here
A little bit simillar to De Gea winning the golden glove and signing the contract extension the club handed him, only to have the club change their mind and ripping that contract renewal up.
Yeah he's right about the player of the year thing, seems like almost every player we pick up is a player of the year, and you think why have you just let your best player go?
I am a Carlisle supporter, Mark Howard was brilliant for us the season he was with us, at the end of the season he wanted a 2 year contract plus nearly double his wages that's why Carlisle released him as he is over 30 years old
7:34 where I'm from we play with sin bins for dissent and I had to come off the bench to come on for the other keeper who got sin binned. We had him and one other get sin binned so we were playing with 9 for 10 minutes and having to come on in that situation was one of the worst things and it was against the team who went invincible the season before.
That was for Rob Lainton. Mark signed because Rob got hurt end of last season into this one. When Rob got fit he came back but got hurt again after a few games. That’s when Ben signed on instead of Mark taking back the spot. All credit to Mark though, he started 32 league games last year whereas Ben and Rob only combined for 14.
Problem with signing a team of 30's is that on average they'll cost more due to injuries and having nearly zero onsale value. While it will 100% work from a sporting perspective it would not work running a club.
It would help the podcast’s reach if you guys were tighter on your video descriptions. Instead of “Mark,” put his full name so people unfamiliar with him know who he is.
Let's be honest. If Wrexham were mid-table or near the bottom, basically underachieving, there is not a chance in HELL that he's got this outlook on things. None of this is fake - I totally believe that Mark's sold in on the idea of winning promotion and trophies as a team. But if they were losing and fans got on their back, or Ben underperformed, he wouldn't be sticking it out. Found this interesting but it's also a really unique perspective. Look at the other sub-keepers in League 2. They're mostly young lads trying to learn and eventually get a starting spot. They're sub-keeper because they don't have another choice. Mark could get more games somewhere else, but not for a side achieving things that Wrexham do. All comes down to achievements, which - in Wrexham's case - is from them being filthy rich. Most keepers would be happy in the same situation.
Ha-ha! 😂😂😂Obviously, there’s a bit of trick photography going on here and Ben Foster is playing the parts of both himself and Mark Howard. Nice try, Ben, but just changing from a white tee shirt to a black one is fooling no-one. …Unless, that is, both parts were being played by Mark Howard? 🤔
Thanks for having me on lads, was an absolute pleasure #GKunion 💪
I recently begun making TH-cam videos. Does anyone have advice on how I can improve them?
Legend mate
Your podcast is class too👌
Thanks for reminding me to rewatch inbetweeners 4:35 😂
Never heard of you until now, but I'm subbing.

Lovely post David. And thank you for your service
Much respect David, thank you for your service
Mark Howard is a sensational keeper. Single handedly kept Carlisle up in 21/22. Great Bloke too
Thanks mate 💪

@@yoursmineawaypodcast I thought you were great at Bolton as well shame about the unfortunate injury at Peterborough
Couldn't disagree more

Couple of brilliant keepers, with good mentality. great interview Fozzy
Class act Mark Howard; there are lessons here for all areas of life. Blessings to you!

Mark Howard something along the lines of can we sign fozzy! If it helps the team do it!! Absolute class ❤

Ross Turnbill sat on the bench at Chelsea for 5 years. Played 7 games. Won the PL & CL
There's only a few inches between a pat on the back and a kick up the arse.
Not wrong there
nooooo... we need more.. this segment was cut to short here on yt....

It is silly how into Wrexham everything I am all the way from Seattle.

The road to League 1 this season. Lower league football can be so dramatic and unprecedented. It's going to be a great season

DDG didn’t sign anything tho, otherwise he wouldn’t be in the situation he finds himself 😅
Some insane wisdom and logic there talking about who you would sign as manager.
Doing your badges?
England needs you!
I Still Wish Mark Howard Stayed, I believe his addition would have gave Carlisle Automatic Promotion. Top Chap 🔵
Top bloke
Two excellent guys and superb keepers.
Thank you
Both great Gentleman goal keepers
I don't listen to the Fozcast, but this is an amazing clip. Going to have to watch the full episode.

I’m going through that bitterness right now lol
Could you get de Gea on the podcast?
So when are we getting Rob Lainton or Del Morgan on the show?
No mention of Rob lainton at all lol
why this intro jingle sounds familiar 🤔🤔🤔

How about getting PL Golden Glove and then being released...
Carlisle got promoted the next season so it worked.
And we ended up getting promoted with a goalie who broke the club clean sheet record.
Over 30yrs, call them Greybeards FC !!
Salt & Pepper FC
Grey and white army

Dad's Army
David degea most clean sheets and released
Imo Goalkeeper is the most important player on the field besides Striker. need a solid goal keeper and striker to win games.
0:51 "The manager said they wanted to take the club in a different direction"
So that was down then?
I wonder if Ben and Mark have any mutual friends from Mark's time at Falkirk...............
Unfortunate for howard but you cant really argue with a prem keeper when your in non league
Ronald was similar, top goal scorer then tag hated on him
Day 1 of asking FozCast for Morgan Gibbs-White on the podcast
