Thank you for the video.. i wouldn't necessarily agree that they were cheap textiles.. nevertheless... good video.. i remember we use to do training at schools on how to wear a gas mask... 😂
Good video guys, I will only add that some of our military equipment was solid and good quality. We also managed to produce our own Kalashnikovs, rpg 7 called “Tip 57”, a few other rifles and we made our own Kerosene fuel. Also it’s not that our economy was necessarily bad but we are a tiny country with 70% mountainous terrain and less than 2 million people at the time.
I understand, the AK model was only for show, nothing more, I did know much about Albania, the person who wear the uniform knew more about it. We will adjust in new video if we every going for sec episode. But thanks for letting us know. The next video will come out tomorrow
From a distance, that helmet looks a lot like the one used by the JNA - the Yugoslav People's Army - with that particular olive drab finish & the red star painted on it. The difference lies in the bottom rim of the helmet : it looks like the Yugoslavs sort of modeled theirs slightly on the German helmets from WW2 in that bottom rim area. The JNA could very well have modeled their helmets after the Bulgarian helmets of WW2 as well ; those, too, bear some resemblance to the JNA helmets of the Yugoslav era ( I was told by a Krajina Serb buddy of mine that JNA's helmets were produced in Macedonia during the Yugoslav era, & since Macedonia was occupied by the Bulgarians during the war, they would be familiar with their gear). Those red star cap badges look very Yugoslav as well; in fact I've seen some used by the Albanian army with the IKOM-ZAGREB imprint on the screw that fastens the badge in place.

@arbanasialbanesi look, am was just the maker of the video. Friend of my know more about thr Albanian uniform that time, people can make mistakes. I highly doubt this is even true, are you sure you're talking about Albania because Albania split its relations with Yugoslavia in 1948
It isn't. Albania used GK-80's that were imported from China
@@illyrian44 And resumed relations in 1971 - while both Hoxha & Tito were still alive.
@veteran907 Do you have reading comprehension issues? I said it LOOKED LIKE the JNA's helmet - I didn't say that it WAS.
@@jovicatrpcevski209 what are you so worked up about lmfao
looks great!
Nice video
the rank system was abolished in 1966
Why poor quality ? Albania had at least an effective textile industry
I know bot much about the army of Albania from that time, only good friend of my who wear the uniform explain history of the uniform
