Excellent review Karthik. I agree with everything you said! It's a beautiful and catchy teach full of frolic and fun! ARR's arrangements are very crisp and flowing and I love the added arrangements with the repeating chorus, so it never gets boring with those variations. Very catchy indeed. I agree with you on the likely Shammi Kapoor brief the director gave to ARR for those appropriate for the time retro elements to be there as you described. Vocal performances are indeed superb.
