Love the Boston 10 and I love this.. 88kg, fit athletic body.. Why I love this in comparison to the novablast? It still feels great at 20km .. How does it compare to the puma deviate 2, 10 times better because that bottoms out for me after a short time.. They are heavy which is great when it’s race day, 10 minutes quicker with lighter shoes is always a lift..
I love the bricks as the shoe tubers call them, but maybe it’s because I have a man’s body..
Appreciate the honest review, I thought pretty accurate from my experience..

Thanks. I appreciate it. Myself also being a larger runner, shoes being not too soft can definitely help. Especially on longer efforts.

What would you use as a speedshoe instead? for intervals and tempos

There are a lot of options in that category. Staying with Nike, the Streakfly is a better option for that type of run. Although I haven’t run in that one personally. I went for the Adidas Takumi Sen 8 instead when those shoes came out. My favorite tempo/speed shoe is currently the Adidas Takumi Sen 8. It’s on the narrow side, but is incredibly light and fast. The Brooks Hyperion Max, Hoka Mach 5, NB Rebel V3 and Puma Deviate Nitro 2 were also very versatile shoes that can turn up the pace.
New versions of all of those shoes have come out recently. But I haven’t tried any of those yet. I buy all of my own shoes, so I’ll often get last year’s model on sale when the new version comes out.
