How to remove and clean a faucet aerator - Kohler aerator removal

If your faucet has low water flow or pressure, replacing the aerator can help. We will remove, clean and install an aerator on a bathroom faucet. Some faucets like Moen and Kohler have hidden aerators that require a special tool to replace. These instruction work on all faucet aerators, including, Delta, Moen and Kohler. A sign that you might need to replace the aerator is when on particular faucet in your house has low pressure and flow while the other facets are ok.

Thank you! Finally, I was able to remove and clean the "hidden" aerator in my kitchen, now I can do the others! Not at all practical 79 year old female, but thanks to TH-cam able to do many household "repairs" myself... Your video really helped me!

Thank you! I always did any repairs around the house but I've become disabled and it hurts to tell my wife "I don't know how"... I'm not used to the "fancy crap" , so when she asked why something is wrong, and I can quickly say it's just an aerator replacement and then get a sinking feeling because Kohler made it special, instead of the standard... Which Kohler requires a special tool to do a simple task. I hate feeling useless. So thank you!!

I did not experience, low flow problems, rather growing bacteria or mold was the issue and this can affect your health . Thanks to this great video I feel like I am on the road to recovery .

I found this video very helpful. I do to have faucet in our backyard and was looking to find a way to connect a hose to water source, I never thought that our faucet doesn't have a capacity to connect a hose with, I just hope to find a compatible hose to be able to connect, do pressure wash cleaning and do over the ground pool.
