I participated in the fifteen minutes of reading, and it's good to see I'm not the only one who does the 'reading in the wilderness sounds magical and soul-enriching but it's impossible to get comfortable' position change every few minutes. If only there was a cosy hammock nearby :) I hope The Starless Sea works (worked?) out well for you. I love it but it's heavy on the vibes so it might be a very mood dependent book. The scenery looks beautiful and relaxing, and it's great to hear you felt reinvigorated after your hike and camping. I try to get away whenever I can. Have a lovely weekend!

Nothing to do with the video, but I finished I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys a few days ago, loved it and thought I'd suggest it as it felt like a 'Josie book' (if that's a thing). It's historical fiction, an immersive story set in Romania in 1989 as other eastern bloc countries bid for freedom, eye opening details about the difficulty of everyday life, characters you can empathise with making tough decisions, believable and realistic, sad but uplifting, a touch of romance and plenty to think about. It has a bit of character crossover with The Fountains of Silence, which I think you said you own or wanted to read? Anyway, I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing summer and found time to read a great book or two.
