If I were to win the lottery and did not need to work, this is the sort of hobby I would take up. Looks so relaxing, and satisfying when you finish and see the results of you efforts.
Wow! That was a awesome restoration. You are such a talented man. Everything you do is amazing. The end result of this knife is so stunning. I love watching your videos. Never disappointed. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and healthy
because its fake. the weapon in question isnt even rusty at the beginning of the video. its dried mud also it doesnt even look damaged of rust when they spray wd40 on it in fact it looks smooth under all the mud
It can jump start the natural patina so the blade doesn't flash rust if you get moisture on it and it isn't oiled right away. Anything acidic should work. I've used mustard to do it. I've not heated it before first, but I imagine the thought process is similar to seasoning a cast iron. Gets the onion juice or whatever acid into any tiny pores to protect it.
Nice result. But I'd say that tail is too small for such massive blade. Kukri is for chopping and handle will most probably will not survive strong hit (edited) long.
So, a super "old" rusty knife that you can scrape the rust off of with a wd40 tip, that has a wonderfully straight cutout on the blunt side of blade with almost no mud, let alone corrosion and even 100% even and minimal "corrosion" over the entire blade... C'mon man, if you wanna fake it, at least put clay on it in blobs, let it dry then toss it in saltwater for a week... *sigh*
@@ABlakevich There are a lot of fake restoration channels. They put mude and paint to look like rust then clean them off. Sure the handle could be real but it was just a blade cleaning.Rust doesnt come off that easy.
@@86jpw I can admit that maybe when they get the blade they might stick it in the ground or leave it by a sink so it rusts a bit more but to go out your way and completely rust up and damage a new blade seems like a lot more work and money, it would literally be easier just to restore an old blade
Ah Ah so much rust and NO PIT ??? Brand new from Pakistan, a bit of rust and lot of dirt then a click bait video ! I advise people to compare all the similar "restoration" !
Lol I swear, out of all the restoration videos I’ve ever seen…. I said, this, don’t seem like a restoration. First comment I see is that it’s fake😂. Well, he did restore stuff though, I doubt he found the knife, but he did clean it tho
Dude this is just sad. You got a blade, put a bad handle on it that wouldn’t work realistically ever, and dirtied the blade. The fact that there’s 0 pitting, minimal work needed to be done for a nice finish, all the serrated teeth are perfectly fine, it looked brand new right out of the electrolysis, no blade damage, no damage at all i fact. Just makes me sad
First off, white dragon gaming, are you a professional restorer? Do you work with these reps of materials at all? Judging from your profile you post game material, not restoration videos. Also, with enough actual hard work the pits can be removed from metal. And yes I know this as I am an actual metal work. Have been for decades. Also, the handle is functional. And considering the possible age of the knife it’s far better than what was on it. It’s solid and beautifully done. As for the other comment about “spray painting” the handle. That called adding. A polyurethane coating from a spray can so it dries quicker. As an “actual 12 year old” you might want to concentrate on school and worry less about what an adult does.
You did an amazing job of cleaning paint and mud off a perfectly normal knife
Great idea to take the hardness out of a knife by heating it with an open flame.
It's really sad that people think this wasn't staged. It's just so obvious, no rust is like he shows in his Chanel
Indeed but you know, we, smart people are a minority. Sad but all these gullible people are the one electingthese moron in office !
Bro, real rust would have eaten away at the steel until theres nothin left
This right here.
Super-impressive, fascinating, satisfying, and just beautiful to watch. Great job!
Get a life with your bad comment don't like the video dont watch it
Nice job you should do the wrench next
Jacob Frye wants his kukri back
Wow! How did you make it so rusty? Is it real rust or some kind of artificial rust on top of that knife?
If I were to win the lottery and did not need to work, this is the sort of hobby I would take up. Looks so relaxing, and satisfying when you finish and see the results of you efforts.
top art kukri commando ...
What does the onion do?
반전도 있고 코믹도 있고 결만은 항상 해피앤딩~~^^;
Nice job 👍
WOW!

*_Super-impressive, fascinating, satisfying, and just beautiful to watch. Great job! _*

It’s perfect
That knife looks amazing
Great restoration. That is now a beautiful knife.
Um artista, parabéns

Good job you took rust out of the bloody wrench and showed as if it was from the knife!! If you don't have rusted knives we have a lot!! Ask us!!😂

Lol looks like the rust came of the wrench 🔧 instead off the blade
Yes he is cheating
This is nepal worrior gorkhas weapon. Real name is Khukuri. 1947.🖒

Why blow torched the handle and the blade?
because its fake. the weapon in question isnt even rusty at the beginning of the video. its dried mud also it doesnt even look damaged of rust when they spray wd40 on it in fact it looks smooth under all the mud
Ok, I’ll bite. Why the onion on the hot blade?
I was wondering that also.

I can't hear a word of dialogue.

Does an original kukri has a serrated edge(and of no real use at that)?. Hightly unlikely...But ok it's a black mamba😝
haiyahhh, original handle sooo sad. give me headache...
It is not kukri it is khukuri sorry but that is how it goes
I dont know, that was look like somebody put fake rust on the knife 🤥🤥🤥

Very similar to imitation rust. There are no rust spots on the metal. Another scam of gullible viewers. 👎
В говне
Probably the worst fake resto job on the interwebs.🥱
