Wright joining west ham was a good move... West ham had the likes of Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Paulo Di canio (check him out btw) Trevor Sinclair, Micheal Carrick, Joe cole, Paul Kitson, and a few others. Most of them ended up being Premier league legends or very good players! Wright did okay for us 9 goals in 22 games but got injured and he was old so never came back. but yeah man check out Paulo Di Canio best goals and skills he is a demon , he got suspended from the league for pushing a ref and west ham only team that wanted to take him hahah and he was world class
UEFA Cup was Europa League. I believe they created Europa League in 2011. UEFA Cup was probably better (competition wise) than European Cup in the 90s.
