I love that Europeans have an appreciation for big old American cars. I would happily live in a rural French, Spanish, or Swiss village with a big American wagon to drive around.
Much love from the USA.
What a beauty, she's perfect. I want a 65 or 66 impala wagon as a driver they are the best impalas ever made. Thanks for posting
The 1965 was my favorite Impala, second only to the 1970. For 1965, the front end reminded me of the '64 Cadillac, and I really liked the taillights and new interior for that year.
In '85 I owned a '65 Impala 2 door.
It had the 283 with a power glide transmission. It was a fun car and one of my all time favorites as far as styling goes. I paid $850 for it, wish I still had it.
Ca c'est d'la bagnole !!
I grew up with one just like this one. Only in dark blue. And with Michigan plates.
J’adore ces grosses bagnoles américaines avec ces gros v8 qui sonnent terrible.
SHE IS BEAUTIFUL
Beautiful 65 🤗😈
bigger and better than any suv
Nice
This particular 65 was sent overseas and equipped with front shoulder strap seat belts which were not installed in the United States until the early 1970s.
Correct and my guess is you know in 68 lap seat belts and front and rear side marker lights became mandatory here in the States ✌️
J’adore
❤❤❤😊
VERY AMERICAN.
REAL room for adults
In France, no less!
J'achète mais avant je joue au loto lol!!🤭😘
9090
Curieux de savoir combien ça consomme pour 100 kms??
12 litres⛽
Elle me mesure combien..?
à peine plus de 5m40 😉
During the sixties and early seventies it was fairly common practice for head-office types at GM to follow a car through production and toss on things not available to the normal customer. Add to that, after a year the car could be sold to another employee for a huge discount. My parents were beneficiary of this “gray practice” and bought a base model with everything screwed on but the 425hp big-block. Sixty years later, why they didn’t bolt that engine on as well still miffs me.
Nice
