Lovely video! I’m debating doing N.M.M. for my first squad. I don’t know if I’m biting off more than I can chew but I’m starting the hobby mostly for painting and building anyway so what’s an extra few hours per model 😂
And thanks for your lovely comment ! I'm guessing you're going for space marines ? You will learn a lot.. Doing nmm on a whole army will look amazing if you have the time. If I started an army of let's say Grey Knights tomorrow, I'd just do nmm on a few characters..
It looks really good! I only tried NNM three times and what i learned is to have no fear about it and to make the contrast more extreme than you think.
My first time with such detailed layaring technique (not exactly nmm cuz it was about necron hyperphase blades but the technique is the same i guess) was pushing pigment around, realizing its going to take ages, screwing it up trying to cut corners, get frustrated and strip the paint, trying again and give up. Then i figured out an aero masking hack that let me get where i was happy and never tried nmm again.
Ouch.. I think it's a "love it or hate it" kind of thing. I prefer a more direct and realistic approach so I'll do some nmm sometimes just to practise.
You might have noticed a few Space Marine 2 clips.. Anyone playing ? What’s your favourite class ?
That intro was so sick!
haha thank you !

@@alexandermanthey-romei5397 thanks! That’s very very good advice too. Cheers!
