I’m so proud of JK. This is one of my favorite if not my favorite song from his solo. I’m a 48 y/o male, husband, and father of two. JK is not my bias but he’s pretty awesome. Then again, all 7 of them are awesome! BTS is a group with all-stars and hall of famers! BTS is a once in a life time group hands down. I can say this because i’ve live through 4 eras of music and there’s not another group who can do what BTS has done and will continue to do when they get back together in 2025! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
JK is the main vocalist of BTS for a reason his voice is extremely versatile and he is awesome (not my bias btw) but all the members of BTS have released solo stuff they could all be stand alone artists and have solo careers im just glad that they are together and that they plan on being back as a group once they finish with their military service. Oh about awards the group have won roughly around 1k awards but this is JK's first solo album. He has already had a number one hit on billboard with Seven ft Latto.

They just renewed their contract so we'll definitely be seeing more of them when they reconvene in 2025 after their mandatory military service. I've been ARMY (name of Fandom) since 2014 so this totally made me proud...all their achievements & milestones really. Plus, JK is the last member to showcase his solo album. 💜🎶

Jungkook broke records already with and without BTS. BTS are 5 time grammy nominees. Jungkook released two singles prior to his first solo album "Golden". "Seven" and "3D". "Seven" was very sucessful, 3D not as much for various reasons. The target demographic was more the young people. But "Standing Next To You" really shows what the golden magknae (golden youngest) is capable of. It's for a broader audience. I would say this song is for everybody who likes good music. The music...the bass, the guitar, the drums, the sax...funky, the production is extra, the song structure is not predicable and therefor keeps your attention. The choreography is cool with lots of nods to Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. And his voice, the adlips are chef's kiss. And of course you have a man in this video that's oozing confidence out of every pore and that's sexy af. :P This retro-funk piece will pave his way to global superstardom. I truly believe that. I love your reaction as a non-army. Cause armys love it of course, but it's good to know that other people love this song as well.

All the BTS members have released their solo projects as they are currently either serving the South Korea’s mandatory military duties or joining pretty soon. They will be back as BTS in June, 2025 and plan to drop some songs and do a world tour. Meanwhile, if you to check out BTS there is plenty to choose from as their discography is over 300 songs. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in BTS. I don’t know what genre of music you like so I’m recommending 3 songs to give just an inkling of what BTS is about. Black Swan, ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film and Fake Love. If you like what you see and hear I also recommend A Guide to BTS: Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari. You need to turn the cc on as they sing mostly in Korean and some English. They have been involved in writing, composing and producing their music even in their training days. It’s so fun to watch newbie’s watch Jungkook. Her expressions were priceless. She was obviously impressed but she’s unaware of how totally amazing he actually is. This song and the whole Golden album is in English. Jungkook is not fluent but he’s working hard at it. I can’t imagine how hard he worked to create this album for all of us. He had to learn so much to make it happen. I know he is a perfectionist and he struggles with pronunciation of many English words. He did such a great job. I’m so proud of Jk and I’m proud to be ARMY. This girl will end up in the ARMY ranks as well, you can see it in her face. She’s about to google more Jungkook songs. ❤

Standing Next to You is obviously funk so it has a much better chance to grab awards, if shows play fair.People will insist that all the members are equally talented, but that always baffles me. If you have a group of superstars, doesn't it stand to reason that at least one would rise above the rest. Jungkook is that one. This man is a master of vocals, dance and stage. But even more amazingly, he improves with each performance. I can safely say that Jungkook has unlimited potential, more than any male artist today .
