1.Those tie wings would work as good armor plates, especially for a guy like walcom who is a Joltaholic. 2. If you cut up the u wing, I imagine you could make a deployable last resort to Chuck on a cqb blaster. I imagine there are plenty of Nerf blasters that have enough room for the mechanism, maybe it could be integrated into a alpha trooper or it's newer little brother.

I have seen a build were someone cut out the vents at the end of the stock barrel and glued in 3 barrels to create an absolver. I do not know what size the pipe was. 1/2in inside diameter for sure though. You could probably just glue and sledgefire shell in though.
