I was thinking the same thing if you look at that one TH-camrs videos about the lore of bdo its actually really interesting but the problem is the way they feed the lore to the player is literal garbage. I will say now that i finally am doing loml part 1 its actually way better than the original stories i played through, the main problem i have with loml is that it has almost nothing to do with the main story, it feels like a filler arc so although its fairly well done it has no real effect on the main events up to this point so it's hard to care about, and i have been reading all of the loml stuff. Idk if part 2 connects more or not tho I'm almost done with part 1 rn Another huge problem is that people THINK the story is mainly in dialogue that they skip through the quests, that's actually not true, a lot of that crap is filler, at least in the original story, the best lore parts believe it or not are in books you read. Remember those quests where they tell you to read a bunch of random books in a room or something like that? Yea those books actually have a crap ton of lore about people like hadum and illezra, caphras, etc. but who the hell is gonna read that crap especially when you've skipped 90% of what is happening up to that point. A codex would go a LONG way in this game, and i think they should have lore cards or some kind of nodes around the world you can collect and the black spirit or something with decipher them and tell you about events that happened in that area or how they came to be etc, that would help a lot and lore youtubers would love that and break it down for people who don't want to read all of it etc, not to mention it would make the lore more interesting because you'll have stuff to speculate on between updates and stuff like that

Don't you feel like a story is a lot about how you feed it to the player? Part of what makes a good story should encourage the player to want to pay attention. Too much text from NPCs you don't know anything about and aren't invested in and people disengage. That is what makes the story bad.

Quests need to be family wide so that it can be ordered and followed without having to worry about which toon did what quest lines and jumping back and forth.
Grind for gear so you can do uncapped pvp or whatever you want to do.
Wait pvp is dead. I been seeing guild decs. Fights over arsha. I seen openworld gvg I seen more vets returning to node wars.
Just disabled when i heard ALL Marvel movies were bad?... that's the level of host you got there
I can't stand it lol 😅
lol. People defending BDO lore really have never played a game with actual good lore. Stop defending bad writing. Only story that was remotely redeemable was mountain of eternal winter and that was still pretty meh. Loml was awful. And no amount of remastering of the old lore is gonna help the old lore. Until BDO puts some actual energy into good writers the lore will always be a messy pile of garbage.
