"Prière" from SELECTED WORKS FOR ORGAN by Cesar Franck

This is a great organ piece, intricate in harmonic development. Listen to it carefully. It is an impression of prayer, written by the man called "The Father of French Organ Music," César Franck (1822-1890). Although born in Belgium, he was a composer, pianist, organist, and music teacher who worked in Paris during his entire adult life.
"All My Music!" is my 10-year project to record all 7,500+/- pieces of music that I own. This piece was recorded on my Hereford Cathedral (England) Father Willis Hauptwerk virtual organ.
