I'm so glad you mentioned the yellowing from too-thick translucent clay! I had that happen recently and thought I baked at too high a temperature. Now I know!
You are so welcome. I think that learning and sharing information is very important. I am so glad it was helpful for you since I wasn't sure either but had to test it. If it can save anyone else from ruining their project like I did then it is important to share my experience. I am so lucky to have you guys watching and I appreciate you more than you know! Thank you for letting me know it helped you!! 😊😊
Thank you. 😊 I am so happy you like it. Of course you can, I got them on Amazon, the link is in the video description but I will provide it for you here too... amzn.to/3q6qPsr
I would recommend Cernit brand. I think it is the one of the best for clarity after baking. The next would be Pardo, Katie Gordon has a good video on translucent clay where she explains that you need to wipe it with alcohol to clear the surface perhaps due to the fact that it is made with bee's wax. All brands will be darker the thicker the clay. But Kato will darken the most. Cindy Lee also has a video on testing different types of polymer clay. They are both good videos worth watching. I hope this helps. Thanks for your question, Pamela, have a great day!
