It's the reason I don't really like X. It's very low-tier compared to F2nd, both the PVs and the difficulties. What's Extreme in PJ Diva X, is Hard in PJ Diva F2nd. The songs are a matter of taste, though.
@@lidlyp The songs are definitely new, plus the fact that there's no World is Mine. I always stick to normal and hard but X is too easy I played most in extreme. Part of me likes how we have to play to get modules because it's a bit more challenging instead of just saving up DP plus that feeling when you get a new module especially a rare one but it gets boring because songs are repetitive so I'm torn. X is definitely a new experience to say the least.
Eh, not that hard, just very time consuming. Once you get used to it (being familiar with Motion Graphics & 3D space) you wont even notice the mess you leave behind when creating something like this until you go watch it back in a different perspective. The thing i wanna know is if the miku animations are stock animations or created on the spot, that would be the difference in taking several weeks or a few months in creating this.
It’s easy to forget that the project Diva music videos are rendered in real time. Plus they can’t be allowed to pay as that would screw up the timing and make the game unplayable. That’s is a cool video that really shows the effort the developers went to.
R.I.P. Wowaka! He truly was too young to die. Other than that, when I first played this, I was mesmerized on how this stage worked out. (3D) Animating stages like these are no joke, and do take a lot of time to do, but I love them. I do wish that if we do get another PD game, we have a level similar to Two Faced Lovers.
Seeing how this pv was made is really fucking cool. I’ve never seen anything else like this on youtube. I also like your commentary. Thanks for making more!!!!
This is such a cool series! Thanks for makin such cool content. To be real, I always just through the PV’s were like pre rendered or something... this is kinda mindblowihg
The only time they are pre-rendered is when there is way to much stuff like in the final part of Sadistic Music Factory and the crowd and background in Decorator
No wonder how the textures are positioned for the aesthetic and how everything is being unloaded and loaded they seem all over the place. Honestly you should collaborate with Boundary Break on the Project Diva games : DD I think that would be very neat. Cool video! I haven’t even seen this PV before! Kudos to the animators as well. Either way regardless of the idea for the collaboration or not this is really cool! You’ve earned a sub today.
I can't imagine how long this took to make. Almost every asset onscreen was animated, constantly moving and changing positions to fit on the camera. The only easy part was Miku's animations as they are just motion captured and she only had to teleport (or slowly move along the Z axis) a handful of times. I'm also suprised each area wasn't a different part of the level, rather things are just rapidly loading and unloading. They must have had to take many measures to keep optimization good enough on that level so it could load/unload assets fast enough to be unnoticable. This looks pretty complex.
I always love seeing how cutscenes work in video games, and totally just realized that Project Diva is pretty much just a whole slew of cutscenes. It's so cool seeing them slide things into place that you wouldn't see just off camera!
MMDer's are shook. (Also for people wondering why Miku levitates to different positions: it's because it helps the physics not glitch or get dislocated because snapping a keyframe to another will absolutely destroy the physics.)
Wow, this must have taken so much planning and attention to detail! This is some really fantastic use or perspective and visual tricks. Thanks for the great video!
Do re me fa rondo doggo has 2 animation frames in the ENTIRE SONG in project mirai. I have no clue about the games thenselves but holy wow it looks like ass.
Loo Does Stuff they didn’t get lazy, the company itself is going broke. They can’t afford to spend a lot of money into a niche game like this that doesn’t make them as much money as sonic or something.
This is probably the most creatively made PV in the entire series (besides maybe kagerou daze which has 2 different PVs for if you fail a chance time or not). These games budgets aren’t huge so it’s reasonable that most of the PVs aren’t nearly as good as this one.
This really surprised me i never knew how it actually worked i thought it wouldn't be to hard but by the looks of this.this mist take so much time and effort mad respect

most likely a nightmare. not because its difficult but just because its time consuming.
Nightmare, most likely.
Kazamiii and you gotta do all those facial expressions, mouth movement, as well as map creation/moving, and even the little things like hands..
It can be both ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well part is motion capture
Now we know why those pv in Diva X just dancing in the middle normally.
Eh.... in fact, they do that cause they were like.... experimenting with the new function of changing backgrounds
Plus it's supposed to give a concert feel instead of just pv
Correct me if I'm wrong though

Miku keeps dancing even when she is not on the camera.
Miku really likes dancing.

No, I'd assume choreography was done first. Angles and cuts came afterwards and they probably chose to not include that running scene in the final PV.
I think it's the animation of her dangling from the circle
she did it for us
