During this run I believe I had JZW stage 1, but I am also running big heavy 19s. My car is not set up for drag racing, but it is fun to get out to the track and run it. My best run is 14.92. Im sure better is possible, with the right setup (not having 19s and having better tires) Good luck, and have fun at Bandimere!
You eat the mustang on the highway regardless. You know if you trick the engine into thinking it's cooler or actually force it to be cooler and tweek a screw on the turbo your high 13s easy
@duncansport This was a "Test and Tune" night, the driver could have been working on something else besides reaction time. Reaction time does not count against you on those nights.
Well actually if you watch the video you will notice there is not a red light on the tree, plus towards the end of my video it shows my reaction time of .041 seconds. Meaning I was 4 hundredths of a second shy from leaving early. So no I did not leave before the light turned green.
Dylan Nicklin Apparently Im not pushing enough power if I was being beat by a Mustang Saleen ;) At this time I was still on a stage 1 gasoline tune IIRC...Not quite sure what the power was at that time.
Dylan Nicklin I am currently running a custom E85 Tune done by JZW Tuning. Quite a bit more power on E85 over gasoline. But if you really want to see a fast Saab, check out his car JZW Saab sets new American Record of 10.59@138.57mph

@@marwandaoudi7000 idk man. the word “fast” basically implies maintaining maximum possible g’s for the longest duration in a set distance. and with the tire pressure dialed in, these things can basically stay one step ahead of the driver regardless of skill.

(should be no problem on FWD at this kind of drag race) If that car was optically "tuned" like most of the others, had a nice stage4+ tuning, it'd look like a monster and it'd most likely murder the other cars at the same time.
Yeah but thats why they're no longer with us because of the cost of all the original saab parts. But i own a saab 2006 9-3 aero, 250 hp, 350 Nm torque(original 2.8t). Just soo nice on long hauls. It's also lowered compared to the gay 2.0t or DIESELS yuck. A much better bodywork, don't know if its the whole chassis or just the plastic parts though. It just looks awesome
read the description... this is up over 5800' above sea level. Most stock mustangs I used to race out here were 16 second cars. Remember, we all dont live at sea level and have all of the air that you guys have.
Useless Piece Of GM Crap? LOL!! When GM gave the car to Saab to sell, Saab thought it was so bad, they changed over 50% of it. So, it wasnt as much "GM Crap" as "Saab Brilliance"
I am no fan at all of saab, actually i think they are pretty gay looking cars, but i have to say, I am damn impressed with some of the races I've seen them in. And you are very, very wrong about drag racing. It takes incredible skill to really bring all the power down to the ground in a drag race. It takes perfect timing and skill to shift and keep your momentum up, not to mention keeping it in a straight line.
To be completely honest, I think the Saab looks better than the Mustang.

@stealthratprophets Yes 14's for the Saleen, the altitude at Bandimere Speedway (Morrison, CO 5800' above sea level) makes all cars quite a bit slower
Outlaunched a freaking Saleen. The Saleen needed several seconds of fighting with the grip to catch up to the Saab.

Timed the light perfectly as far as I'm concerned. Cutting the light like that is how you get good reaction times.
