I miss Viceland, it was an attempt at a channel branded like early 2000's grown up, or how they grew up. Unfortunately they became my fav channel and then went under. They were a fucking content goldmine and nobody was paying attention, it hurts me in particular that Nirvana the Band the Show has been in limbo since the channel dissolved.

It's honestly insane that Tony Hawk and Mat Hoffman, both at the peak of their professions, risked serious injury to participate in a 4 minute segment for a TV show!
I love how Tony has that gigantic smile on his face in the beginning. You can tell the behind the scenes shenanigans were getting good and he was laughing his ass off not long before filming.
Everything about this was awesome. The uncertainty, the wipeouts, the lifeguard, the "everyman" experience with Bam, the triumph and then the chicken suits.
The year this was filmed, I was riding vert and park BMX during the day, watching Jackass and playing Mat Hoffman's BMX at night. Mat and Dave Mirra (RIP) are my two favorite riders ever.
Idk why I'm replying to this old ass comment but almost definitely not, unless by "sport" you mean like, darts or bowling or billiards. Most sports you need very unique skill sets for. Tony Hawk wasn't exactly going to be a top notch NFL or FIFA player. Baseball is incredibly, incredibly hard and most minor leaguers never crack a major league roster. He may have been very good at hockey, since it's a lot of balance and hand-eye. Other than that, I doubt he could have pursued that type of sport in a serious manner.
I played Tony hawk games, I played Matt hoffman games I watched Jackass, This was a great moment when I watched it on TV, great memories of a simpler time
