But it is very unlikely to happen because the SEC schools that play rivalry games against ACC schools have blocked it from happening several years ago. The biggest problem with doing that is it will cost some schools a home game and a multi million dollar gate.

With several SEC schools having a rivalry game against an ACC team every year it make sense for the ACC and SEC to play each other. Maybe in Neutral site games ot home and home. It make geographical sense and the travel is not to bad. If they go neutral site games they could play them in Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville and Nashville. It would be good for television too.

The FCS game they might do is Jacksonville State vs UAB at a neutral site ( Montgomery). It is on September 1st. They could do a show there and then head to Charlotte for Georgia vs Clemson. But It will probably be a Jackson State game so Deion can be on TV again. If it is against Southern it will be a blowout by Southern.

That week 1 game is huge for week 14. If UGA wins given how terrible the rest of its schedule is (UGA has nobody, maybe Florida) there is a not insignificant chance you could have 2 unbeatens in the championship game and it could be a 1-2 matchup IF (big if) UGA beats Clemson.

I am an HBCU alum and I would like to see it, but ESPN probably won't go to JSU/ SU. SU will probably lose 4 games before the JSU game. SU has a new coach. If they can do better, they will. Probably November 20th ( Alcorn State vs. Jackson State, "The Soul Bowl")
The only way this game gets looked at is if UAB upsets Georgia on the road in Week 2. Not to mention, for Liberty, storyline wise, Week 10 with their game at Ole Miss and all the storylines that come with it. Will be more appealing to GameDay than UAB/Liberty. That is a good game for Week 5 though. Can go either way.

I think North Dakota State at South Dakota State for week 10 would be a better matchup. Either Texas or ISU is going to fall off by that point and that is easily the biggest FCS rivalry in the country. Plus SDSU was just in the national championship game this year.

I think Bama A&M is going to be the 1 regular season 8:00 CBS game this year. Gameday usually goes to that match up every year. Also, Georgia Auburn play that day. So, the CBS doubleheader this season is going to be freaking great!

Week 2 Washington at Michigan rematch of the 1990s rose bowl rivalry between the two teams
The FCS game they might do is Jacksonville State vs UAB at a neutral site ( Montgomery). It is on September 1st. They could do a show there and then head to Charlotte for Georgia vs Clemson. But It will probably be a Jackson State game so Deion can be on TV again. If it is against Southern it will be a blowout by Southern.
You're probably right. They'll show up to Montgomery for the UAB/JSU game, but ultimately they'll probably just keep sucking off Deion Sanders and Jackson State.

That week 1 game is huge for week 14. If UGA wins given how terrible the rest of its schedule is (UGA has nobody, maybe Florida) there is a not insignificant chance you could have 2 unbeatens in the championship game and it could be a 1-2 matchup IF (big if) UGA beats Clemson.

I am an HBCU alum and I would like to see it, but ESPN probably won't go to JSU/ SU. SU will probably lose 4 games before the JSU game. SU has a new coach. If they can do better, they will. Probably November 20th ( Alcorn State vs. Jackson State, "The Soul Bowl")

UAB Liberty week 5 UAB opens in their new stadium
The only way this game gets looked at is if UAB upsets Georgia on the road in Week 2. Not to mention, for Liberty, storyline wise, Week 10 with their game at Ole Miss and all the storylines that come with it. Will be more appealing to GameDay than UAB/Liberty.

I think North Dakota State at South Dakota State for week 10 would be a better matchup. Either Texas or ISU is going to fall off by that point and that is easily the biggest FCS rivalry in the country. Plus SDSU was just in the national championship game this year.
