      its true because rich people doesn't know how it fell to have little or a lot poor people does even if they don't have food or money they'll give their love to you and a roof over your head they'll try to help anyone that is on the streets because they know how it fells to have nothing

      No, banks are the best investment you can make. Look at Warren Buffett, he loves bank stocks, although he got them cheap in 2008, when they were sinking. You should have some other investments too. Never put all your eggs in one basket but banks are really great because they mint (create) money secondarily, after the central banks mint money primarily.

    “Filing for bankruptcy” does not mean broke. These are business people which have incorporated their companies I.e. their companies are separate entities. The principals of these companies are not themselves liable for debts that the companies have assumed. In other words, they still own personal assets

    • @dwightstjohn6927
      @dwightstjohn6927 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the problem is that if FRAUD is the issue, the IRS and other countries tax authorities can now cross the lines of these "separate entities", just as the statute of limitations no longer applies if the audit is for fraud.

    To casual observers, it appeared that Adolf Merckle the 74-year-old businessman had committed suicide because he was unable to cope with losing the sort of riches the rest of us can only dream of.
    Yet the trappings of wealth meant nothing to Merckle; to him money was simply an inevitable by-product of his success, never a goal in itself.
    He lived so modestly that he cycled to work on a 15-year-old bike for most of the year, and in bad weather he drove a four-year-old VW Golf. He had no bodyguards or servants, lived in an unimposing chalet-style house in the small town of Blaubeuren, his home for the past 60 years, without so much as a CCTV camera for protection, and stopped off at his local pub on his way home each night to share a drink with the regulars.

    • @sandile84
      @sandile84 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why did he commit suicide then?

    • @ralphcoppola7979
      @ralphcoppola7979 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@sandile84 ---he failed. He was no longer a success. For most super wealthy people it is not a love of money, rather net worth reflects how well they are playing the game. His net worth hit zero. He failed at the game.

    I don't think the Creator of this video understands what bankruptcy means at these levels of wealth. When a Billionaire files bankruptcy, it is to preserve wealth, not because they have lost it all.

    • @perkalov
      @perkalov 8 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I don't think you understand how bankruptcy works. It might absolutely affect the individual if he haven't taken measures to avoid it from happening (say, used their own assets as safety for loans taken or commited criminal acts would be things that opens up for going after their personal wealth). Nor do I think you understand how they value the persons wealth, the corporation that is put into bankruptcy is a part of their wealth so if a huge part of their assets is tied up in the company, it will vanish in the bankruptcy. Yes, Trump (as an example) has filed for Bankruptcy for several companies he owned, but has avoided personal bankruptcy by not having all his assets tied up in risky projects. So the losses he made was "reasonable". But that some businessmen take this kind of precautions doesn't say that all does. Alas, some actually loses everything. On top of that, realize that laws concerning bankruptcy is national, several of this former billionaires are non US citizens and the laws in Ireland might differ from the laws in Arkansas.

      Yah it's called chapter 11 bankruptcy. Trump did it.

    • @perkalov
      @perkalov 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not being a jerk. The OP clearly displays a lack of understanding of how corporations work and what personal bankruptcy is.
      When a billionaire files for bankruptcy for their corporation they do so to preserve or simply out of necessity and their personal wealth is not affected to more then the part they have invested in the corporation.(This is how Trump has filed 4 bankruptcies without being bankrupt. It has always been corporations who went belly up)
      However if it is the individual that files for bankruptcy all of their wealth will be distributed amongst the creditors. Is there ways of hiding wealth? Yeah, but filing a bankruptcy on the individual will never ever preserve their wealth. It will in fact strip away everything that they fail to hide, which is most of their wealth.
      Btw, I didn't say that those that has become billionaires was particularly honest, though I suspect that there are some that simply didn't need to be crocks to get there. But that is really not the issue.

    • @perkalov
      @perkalov 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ehh... yeah so they can hide assets, nothing new with that. Hiding money on a Swiss account is slightly better then bury some gold, but the mechanics is the same. But that does not make a personal bankruptcy a tool to preserve wealth. It will still always strip you clean of any asset that available, most notably stuff that wont be buried or set into accounts, like stocks, bonds, real estate etc etc etc.
      Any assets that is hidden away, is equally hidden before the bankruptcy.
      Filing Bankruptcy for a company might however be a tool for avoiding further losses.
      Point is, some of those mentioned in the video *did* have their fortunes stripped away.

      An early teacher told him: "You're either going to be very, very rich or a criminal". But unlike these others, what actually made him rich was he's a PEOPLE person. At the end of the day, it's your people and who you chose that will push you forward. His organizational culture is all about that.

      Most likely they lost their souls long before they became rich.
      Take Hillary Clinton for example. She has been known to be corrupt since 1974, But none of her scams paid off until 1998 when BJ and Hillary appeared on TV begging for help with their Legal Defense Fund, like 2 Arkansas Televangelist. Now they are Multi-Millionaires with a Pleathora of Scams running all around the World, all running through the Clinton Foundation.

They are all just mechanisms for creating wealth and obedience and none of their stories have any place in our world. They have all caused untold pain, suffering and misery through centuries and have held back progress across the world

      Status. If a 10/10 pretty girl is at your side at a party and she is your GF, people think its a $5k callgirl you hired. If you show you with a wife (and she actually shows up more than once over lets say a year), she gradually becomes one of the rich people cliques and it shows the other millionnaires that some girl was willing to spend extended time with you and that you are therefore capable of being soft (since biz often just shows you are good at being hard and cold).
      If she then has your baby, she went all in for you, and it will show the other millionaires that you are cool enough to have your empire and still start a family with a girl who could pick anyone she wanted. And still she picked you even if for money.
      Some billionaires in their 40+ range with no kids would risk 1B of their 2B+ fortune for a fertile hottie to bear them a couple of real kids/heirs. Even if its just to lock in the 1B reward from her side etc. Then it becomes a matter of the stuff you CAN'T buy: Biological kids with an attached mom, health and a future for your wealth when you are dead.
